The Watch

Since 1884, Victorinox has been crafting the iconic Swiss Army knife. The manufacturer entered the world of watchmaking in 1989, delivering impressive timepieces defined by outstanding legibility and remarkable technology - equally at home in the field and in everyday life. The brand presents its iconic I.N.O.X. collection, featuring models built for sports and intense activities, including the I.N.O.X. Chrono Quartz Watch 241988.1. It features a sturdy yet lightweight tonneau case measuring 45 mm in diameter, crafted in titanium. The surface is protected by a sapphire crystal that resists both shocks and scratches, crowned by a striking hexagonal bezel made from carbon composite in a deep anthracite black that amplifies its commanding presence. The faceted bezel displays military hours, a tachymeter scale, and markers in yellow and white. On the right side of the case, a screw-down crown with a knurled grip handles the setting of hours, minutes, and date. Flanking the crown are pushers used to start, stop, and reset the chronograph hands - decorated with alox motifs and crafted in black PVD titanium. Finally, a screw-down case back ensures water resistance to 20 ATM and is engraved with the watch's key specifications. To keep your watch safe, a soft pouch is included.

The Dial

The dial of this watch has a sporty look that has made it a favorite among men. It strikes a perfect balance between form, color, and function. It features a black base with a sandblasted finish that adds depth, bordered by a minute track for precise timekeeping. Inside, a set of baton indexes marks the hours, pointed to by two baton-style hands - both, like the indexes, coated with a luminescent treatment for easy reading in low-light and dark environments. A slim seconds hand in black with a yellow tip and a counterweight echoing the brand's knife design completes the display. For added utility, a day window sits below 12 o'clock, while a date window with a yellow outline is positioned opposite. The chronograph function is served by three sub-dials at 3, 6, and 9 o'clock, displaying small seconds, 1/10th of a second, and 30 minutes respectively. The brand's logo takes the place of the 12 o'clock index, with the brand name inscribed just below.

The Movement

This model is powered by a Swiss-made Ronda 5040.E quartz movement. It features 13 jewels, a diameter of 28 mm, and a 395 battery with a 5-year power reserve. This caliber drives an analog three-hand display and efficiently powers all additional functions.

The Strap

This watch features an elegant strap crafted from wood with a bovine leather lining. Finished in brown with a ribbed surface, it comes with a pin buckle in titanium for a secure fit. The strap is easily interchangeable without tools and measures 21 mm wide at the lug.

Water Resistance

This model offers water resistance to 20 atmospheres, or 200 meters. A watch that's ready to go wherever your aquatic adventures take you - this one is built for freediving. No need to fear the water: you can even use high-pressure washers while wearing it. Showering, bathing, swimming, and freediving are all fair game. For scuba diving with tanks, however, we recommend a timepiece with a higher water resistance rating. Avoid operating the crown or pushers while submerged to protect the integrity of the movement.
