The hollow link design allows for a more voluminous look at a lighter price. In practice, the beads are hollow while the connectors between them are solid - making this hollow link style surprisingly durable.

Link width and gold weight for the different chains:

• 3,50 mm with an average gold weight of 15,79 grammes (lobster clasp)
• 5,00 mm with an average gold weight of 22,69 grammes (lobster clasp)

This chain is in white rhodium-plated yellow gold, except for the 5.00 mm width which is in white gold. A rhodium plating is still applied to the white gold to maintain its brilliance.
