The Watch

Born in Cuba, Cuervo Y Sobrinos was founded in 1882, offering collections of elegant and distinctive watches rooted in Swiss watchmaking tradition. The dial is protected by a sapphire crystal, renowned in watchmaking for its exceptional scratch resistance. The crystal is domed with an anti-reflective coating for easy time reading. Finally, the automatic movement can be admired through the transparent and screw-down caseback. Water resistance is rated at 5 ATM, or 50 meters.

The Dial

True to its elegant spirit, the dial features clean, sophisticated colors. Its shape is round with a sunray white background. The hour markers stand out beautifully in baton form with a rhodium treatment in silver, echoing the case color. The 12 o'clock index bears the brand logo, also in silver, with the maison's signature written beneath it in black. For a touch of color, the two central hands are in blue, complementing the strap. They display hours and minutes. At 6 o'clock, a small seconds subdial provides enhanced timekeeping precision. At the bottom of the dial sits the inscription "Swiss Made".

The Movement

Powering this timepiece is a Swiss automatic movement of exceptional quality - specifically the CYS 5159 caliber with a SW 261 base. It delivers smooth, precise timekeeping at a frequency of 28,800 A/h, with a power reserve of 38 hours and 31 jewels to minimize gear friction.

The Band

Complementing its elegant look, the strap is crafted from a beautiful shiny cordovan leather in blue. This material and color pair effortlessly for a chic, comfortable wear. The strap fastens with a stunning openwork deployment clasp in stainless steel bearing the Cuervo Y Sobrinos signature.

Water Resistance

This model offers water resistance of 5 atmospheres, or 50 m. It is crafted to be as beautiful as it is capable - elegant enough to turn heads yet resilient enough to handle everyday life. You can wear it in the shower, though the Ocarat team recommends leaving it by the sink to preserve its brilliance and longevity. Swimming and diving, however, are not recommended, as water damage could result in costly repairs.
