The Watch

Case in point: the stunning Himalaya 40 mm Chronograph 671710, featuring a round case in polished and brushed 316L stainless steel measuring 40.00 mm in diameter and 12.80 mm in thickness. These dimensions make it the perfect match for refined men who appreciate classic style. A grooved crown at 3 o'clock and two pushers handle all function adjustments. To top it off, the dial is protected by a domed sapphire crystal, while the screw-down case back ensures water resistance of 5 ATM.

The Dial

This stunning chronograph showcases a vivid blue dial that brings a bold pop of color to the whole design. Triangle-shaped and Arabic numeral hour markers are framed by a fine minute track for precise minute reading. Two silver dauphine-style hands with luminescent treatment indicate the hours and minutes, while a matching seconds hand completes the trio. Adding further functionality, a tachymeter scale runs around the dial edge to calculate the speed of a moving object, and a date window between 4 and 5 o'clock keeps you on track. The chronograph function is handled by sub-dials at 3, 6, and 9 o'clock, indicating 24 hours, small seconds, and 60 minutes respectively. The brand's signature appears at 12 o'clock.

The Movement

Inside this watch beats a quartz movement of Japanese manufacture - the reliable and precise OS20 caliber - driving the hands, date window, and sub-dials. It is powered by a type 399 battery.

The Strap

This bracelet gives the watch its final touch of elegance and charm. Crafted in 316L stainless steel, it features five rows of brushed links that give it a bold, distinctive character. It measures 20 mm wide and fastens with a deployant clasp.

Water Resistance

With water resistance of 50 meters - or 5 ATM in watchmaking terms - this timepiece can handle a splash, but isn't built for prolonged water exposure. You can get away with wearing it in the shower from time to time, but our entire team of watch experts strongly recommends keeping it well away from H₂O - whether that's a bath, pool, or the ocean. In short: no swimming, no diving, and no extended contact with water.
