The Watch
Watch enthusiasts will be thrilled to hear about the latest release from Lip. The iconic French watchmaking brand, active in the industry for decades, introduces a bold new iteration of its legendary Himalaya model - this time reimagined as a thoroughly modern chronograph. Housed in a 40mm polished stainless steel case, this watch is made for men who take their made-in-France seriously. The multi-function dial - celebrated since its debut for its extraordinary durability - is protected by a premium sapphire crystal. A slim, fluted crown sits at the 3 o'clock position, flanked on either side by two pushers that control the chronograph functions. The dial is framed by a stunning polished steel bezel, while the screw-down case back ensures water resistance to 5 ATM. A true mountaineer's watch, this Lip creation is waiting for the most passionate collectors among you!

The Dial
At heart a chronograph, this watch features a deep blue sunray dial set within a round case. The dial is brought to life with several silver-toned details, lending elegance and legibility to this Himalaya model. Hour indices on the blue background take the form of silver applied markers, complemented by Arabic numerals at 2, 4, 8, 10, and 12 o'clock. A minute railroad track runs along the outer edge, accompanied by fine silver graduations for precise timekeeping. Two sub-dials are integrated into the blue dial: a 24-hour counter between the 2 and 4 o'clock indices, and a 60-minute counter between the 8 and 10 o'clock indices. The chronograph function is activated via the central seconds hand, tipped in red. The hour and minute hands feature a pointed design and are coated with a luminescent stripe for optimal readability day and night. The date is displayed through a discreet white-background window at 6 o'clock.

The Movement
Powering this French-made Himalaya watch is a Miyota quartz movement. The OS21 caliber, of Japanese origin, drives the two hands on the dial for analog time display and also manages the sub-dial counters, chronograph function, and date window.

The Watch Strap
On either side of the polished steel case sits a brown leather strap. It strikes a perfect balance between classic and timeless style, making this timepiece truly wearable across generations. Crafted entirely from light brown calfskin leather with a smooth finish, it features beige topstitching at the edges for a refined, handcrafted look at the wrist. The lug width of this strap is 20mm, and a polished silver pin buckle serves as the clasp.

Water Resistance
This model offers water resistance to 5 atmospheres (50m). Beautifully crafted to turn heads, it's built to handle more than just a polished display case. You can wear it in the shower - though the Ocarat team would recommend leaving it on the edge of the sink to preserve its brilliance and integrity over time. For swimming and scuba diving, we strongly advise against wearing this watch, as water damage may result in repair costs that fall outside the warranty.
