The Watch
A symbol of mountaineering, Lip's Himalaya collection features watches celebrated for their exceptional toughness and resilience in the mountains. The Himalaya timepiece became legendary when Maurice Herzog, a close friend of Fred Lip, wore it on the first-ever ascent of Annapurna. The watch takes its identity from the mountain range that is home to the world's highest summit. Featuring a polished stainless steel case with a 40 mm diameter, this model is designed for men. At 3 o'clock, the crown lets you set the hands with ease. The dial is protected by a domed mineral crystal that guards against shocks while maximizing legibility. The screw-down case back ensures water resistance to 50 meters.

The Dial
Round in shape, the dial strikes the perfect balance of elegance and functionality. It features a blue sunburst-textured background that gives it real character, catching the light with a brilliant, radiant shimmer. At the center, silver dauphine hands indicate the hours and minutes, coated with luminescent paint for easy reading in the dark. The hours are marked by silver beveled indexes complemented by applied Arabic numerals at 12, 3, and 9 o'clock. They are paired with round minute markers along the dial edge for added brilliance. At 6 o'clock, a dedicated sub-seconds counter keeps the seconds off-center. Finally, the brand name and collection are displayed at 12 o'clock, with the French origin noted at 6 o'clock.

The Movement
This timepiece houses a premium quartz movement. Swiss-made, the RONDA 1069 caliber delivers unbeatable precision and durability. Analog display of hours, minutes, and seconds powered by a type 377 battery.

The Strap
True to its heritage, this watch comes fitted with a brown cowhide leather strap. Incredibly wear-resistant and supremely comfortable for all-day wear or active pursuits, the strap is finished with cream topstitching for a touch of elegance. With a 20 mm lug width, it secures with a chrome pin buckle.

Water Resistance
With a water resistance rating of 5 atmospheres (50 meters), this watch offers solid everyday water protection. While not designed for bathing, lap swimming, or scuba diving, you can wear it confidently in the shower. That said, our experts recommend keeping this timepiece dry whenever possible to preserve its movement for years to come.
