Lebois & Co was founded in 1934 in La Chaux-de-Fonds by Raymond Dodane. Specializing in the manufacture of high-quality watches, this Swiss watchmaking brand combines precision with elegant design, crafting luxury timepieces destined to elevate your every moment. It quickly earned a strong reputation for its exceptional craftsmanship and reliable movements, becoming a benchmark in the world of watchmaking and holding its own among the great Swiss watch houses. Today, thanks to the dedication of Tom van Wijlick and his wife, the brand is making a powerful comeback with new models inspired by its rich heritage and infused with a touch of modernity. It produces quality watches that blend traditional expertise with the latest technological advances. Discover the classic style and vintage aesthetics of the Heritage Chronograph - 324.472 watch. Designed for men, it pays tribute to that golden age of mechanical precision, born from a collection that merges the passions of enthusiasts into a new modern classic. This model features a round case crafted entirely from brushed and polished 316L stainless steel, giving it a refined, luminous look. It measures 39 mm in diameter and 47.40 mm in length, with a thickness of 10.50 mm. A domed sapphire crystal protects the dial from potential impacts. Durable and resilient, it measures 3.40 mm thick and features an anti-reflective coating for effortless legibility. It frames the key central elements, which are operated by two pushers and a grey crown positioned on the right side. The crown's knurled finish ensures a secure and comfortable grip. Finally, this watch offers water resistance to 5 ATM, guaranteed by its screwed and engraved caseback. Fitted with a sapphire crystal window, the caseback offers a beautiful view of the movement within.
The chic, elegant design of this dial is sure to turn heads. It features a lightly sandblasted finish that beautifully enhances its attractive brushed salmon-toned base. Round in shape, it showcases a pulsometer scale along the outer edge for measuring heart rate. Inside, a minute track runs alongside baton indexes and Arabic numerals marking the hours - all serving as time markers swept by the three central hands. These include a slender seconds hand for the chronograph, along with a large and a short hand indicating minutes and hours. Finished in blue, they are complemented by two sub-dials at 3 and 9 o'clock, displaying 30 minutes and small seconds respectively. At 6 o'clock, the Swiss Made label appears, while above it, anti-magnetic resistance is noted. The brand name is signed beneath the 12 o'clock position.
This watch is powered by a manual-winding mechanical movement - specifically the exclusive LC-450 caliber manufactured by La Joux Perret. Reliable and robust, this mechanism is anti-magnetic and beats at a frequency of 28,800 vph, requiring 24 jewels. It drives the hands and chronograph with precision and delivers a power reserve of 60 hours.
This carefully crafted strap is a perfect complement to the watch. Made from suede bovine leather, it features a suede finish that gives it a soft, brushed texture. Supple and comfortable, it sits beautifully on the wrist in any situation, pairing effortlessly with accessories of your choice and adding a refined touch with its blue tone. It measures 20 mm in width and is fitted with an 18 mm grey pin buckle for easy adjustment.
This model offers water resistance of 5 atmospheres, or 50 m. It is designed above all for beauty and to make a statement in any setting. Yet that refined character in no way compromises its ability to handle everyday conditions. You can keep this model on during a shower, though the Ocarat team recommends leaving it gently on the edge of the sink to preserve its brilliance and integrity over the long term. For swimming and scuba diving, we strongly advise against wearing this watch, as doing so risks damaging it and incurring repair costs.
