Heritage Chronograph Steel Watch with Black Dial

The Watch

Designed and crafted by Swedish house Corniche, this watch belongs to the Heritage Chronograph collection. Remarkably slim, it transitions effortlessly from personal to professional occasions. With a 39mm diameter and 11.5mm thickness, its stainless steel case is made for men's wrists. The whole is protected by sapphire crystal, prized in watchmaking for its exceptional technical properties. On the caseback, screw-secured and housing the hybrid movement that powers this timepiece. The crown at 3 o'clock sets the three central hands, and is flanked by two pushers that activate the chronograph functions.

The Dial

The Swedish house opts for a black ceramic dial. At its center, three hands indicate hours, minutes, and seconds. Around the dial, silver-toned indexes mark the hours. For optimal precision, a minute track runs along the dial's edge. Two subdials sit at 3 and 9 o'clock, displaying a 24-hour counter and a 60-minute counter respectively. Finally, this timepiece is signed Corniche beneath the 12 o'clock index.

The Movement

This chronograph watch is powered by an impressive hybrid movement manufactured in Japan. It combines quartz precision with the character of mechanical movements. The VK64 Meca-Quartz caliber by Seiko drives the hour, minute, and second hands, as well as both subdials - the 24-hour counter and the 60-minute counter.

The Bracelet

Crafted from genuine leather, this black strap is striking in its meticulous finish. Fine stitching runs delicately along its edges for a refined touch. It fastens with a silver-toned deployant buckle. The lug width measures 20mm.

Water Resistance

With 5 ATM water resistance (50 meters), this watch is a solid first step into water-resistant timekeeping. While it's not designed for swimming, bathing, or diving, you can safely wear it in the shower without worry.
