The Watch

Avi-8 crafts watches with a singular story rooted in the world of aviation. Having partnered with British organizations such as Help for Heroes, Jet Art Aviation, and the Royal British Legion, this watchmaker is dedicated to honoring the greatest aviators in history. Among its collections, the Hawker Hurricane presents the AV-4094-01 model. It features a stainless steel case with a 43mm diameter. A crown on the right side lets you manually set the time during time-zone changes. A mineral crystal shields the white dial from scratches and impurities. Water resistance stands at 5 atmospheres.

The Dial

The dial background is white, featuring a chapter ring with Arabic numerals in black and red running from 12 to 24 hours. In black, a minute track and Arabic numerals cover the first 12 hours. Black and white hour and minute hands guide you with precise timekeeping. A more central circle contains red inscriptions indicating the watch's movement, a date window, and seconds. True to the brand's spirit, the orange seconds hand is shaped like an airplane, and Avi-8 displays its name at the top of the dial.

The Movement

An automatic caliber beats at the heart of this case. Of Japanese origin, this movement delivers the time and date analogically to the second. It is composed of 24 jewels, oscillating at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour.

The Strap

A brown strap beautifully offsets the light dial. Crafted from smooth leather, a subtle groove runs along each side of the strap from lug to tail. A silver pin buckle lets you adjust the strap to your wrist.

Water Resistance

With a water resistance of 50 meters - or 5 ATM in standard watchmaking terms - this timepiece can handle splashes but isn't built for extended water exposure. You can wear it in the shower occasionally, but to preserve the precision and quality of the movement, our watch specialists strongly recommend keeping it away from H2O - whether that's the bath, the pool, or the sea. In short: no swimming, no diving, and no prolonged contact or immersion.
