The Watch
When an aircraft becomes a timepiece, the result is an AVI-8. This new chronograph, the Hawker Harrier, takes its name from the legendary military jet that defined an era. A true innovator of its time, that aircraft is reborn here as a watch - with gears and movement beautifully layered inside a skeleton case. The stainless steel case measures 44 millimeters in diameter. A crown sits between two crown guards at 3 o'clock, flanked by two pushers to control the chronograph functions. The aeronautical-inspired dial is protected by a mineral crystal. On the case back, the design pays tribute to the Rolls Royce Pegasus engine turbine, reinforcing the intricate craftsmanship of the case. Steeped in history, this timepiece is sure to make a statement on your wrist.

The Dial
Bold at first glance, this AVI-8 dial quickly wins you over. Its round shape features a skeleton white dial, giving you a clear view of the movement within. Just inside the silver bezel, a minute track sits ready for use with the tachymeter function on this chronograph. Hour markers are rendered as slim, luminescent silver baton appliques. At the center, three hands animate the dial: the hour and minute hands take the form of silver rectangular hands with luminescent tips, while the seconds hand makes its mark with a striking yellow tip. The chronograph features three sub-dials: a 1/20-second counter at 3 o'clock, a small seconds counter at 6 o'clock, and a minute counter at 9 o'clock. The sub-dial hands share the same eye-catching yellow as the seconds hand, tying the design together with a modern, cohesive flair. Beneath the 12 o'clock marker, a double aperture - the "big date" window - takes pride of place, followed by the brand's signature "AVI-8".

The Movement
Like an aircraft engine, a quartz movement powers this watch to life. A Japanese Miyota caliber drives the three hands, the date window, and the sub-dial counters.

The Strap
The aviator spirit of this model carries through to the strap. The deep green hue nods to military colors, while the genuine leather construction brings both durability and comfort on the wrist. A military cross-stitch finish rounds out the look for a boldly masculine aesthetic. The lug width measures 22 millimeters, and a silver pin buckle keeps everything securely in place.

Water Resistance
This model offers water resistance up to 5 ATM (50 m). Designed to be as beautiful as it is capable, it can hold its own against the elements without compromise. You can wear it in the shower, though the Ocarat team recommends setting it gently on the edge of the sink to preserve its brilliance and integrity over time. Swimming and scuba diving, however, are strongly discouraged - exposure to those conditions risks damaging the watch and may result in costly repairs.
