The Watch

Balmain unveils its new watch B81113315 from the Haute Elégance Ovale collection. True to its collection name, the case is oval in shape, crafted from silver stainless steel. It measures 31.7 mm by 26 mm in diameter and 6.45 mm thick. At 3 o'clock, you'll find a notched winding crown that lets you control the 2 hands on the dial. A sapphire crystal sits atop the dial, shielding it from shocks and scratches. Finally, the screwed case back ensures water resistance up to 50 meters.

The Dial

The dial of this timepiece takes an original oval shape with a white background. You'll notice the raised arabesque finish, lending this watch a distinctly romantic character. At the center of the dial, 2 silver sword-shaped hands display the hours and minutes. Around the dial, 12 hour markers are arranged - all 12 hours are represented by slim baton-style indexes in the same color as the 2 hands. Finally, just above the 6 o'clock index you'll find a small seconds subdial, and below the 12 o'clock index, the brand's signature.

The Movement

At the heart of this case beats a quartz movement by the Swiss brand ETA, caliber ETA 980.15. It delivers precise, reliable timekeeping.

The Strap

A jubilee bracelet in steel, composed of 5 links in silver stainless steel, pairs seamlessly with this watch's design. It fastens around your wrist with a matching folding clasp.

Water Resistance

With water resistance of 50 meters, or 5 ATM in standard watchmaking terms, this timepiece handles splashes but isn't built for prolonged water exposure. You can get away with wearing it in the shower occasionally - but to keep the movement performing at its best, our watch specialists strongly advise keeping it well away from baths, pools, and the sea. In short: no swimming, no diving, no extended contact with water.
