Lip is a French watchmaking brand recognized worldwide for its beautifully refined timepieces, blending clean aesthetics with expert craftsmanship. Founded by Emmanuel Lipmann in 1867, the brand has never stopped combining ancestral know-how, French elegance, and advanced technology to create precise, timeless, and high-performing watches that accompany their wearers through life's every adventure with determination and style. Discover their all-new watch 671855, a limited edition of 600 pieces that will captivate you from the very first glance, sitting on your wrist with effortless elegance and modern confidence. Designed for men, this model belongs to the Nautic-Ski collection - a line of robust, high-performance, forward-thinking timepieces built for everyday life and nautical adventures alike. Its sporty attitude and contemporary design make it the perfect companion for any outfit, from casual to dressed-up, lending a distinguished edge to your daily style. At its core is a round case crafted in titanium with a brushed finish that amplifies its sport-chic character. Measuring 41 mm in diameter, it fits all wrist sizes while ensuring exceptional comfort throughout the day. A flat sapphire crystal sits over the dial, shielding it from impacts and scratches. Two knurled crowns with a textured surface - positioned at 2 o'clock and 4 o'clock - let you set the hours, minutes, and date, and rotate the inner bezel ring. Thanks to its screw-down caseback, this watch is water-resistant up to 20 bar of atmospheric pressure. The caseback also features a transparent aperture through which you can admire the movement's intricate mechanics.
A stunning round dial in black sits elegantly within the case, adding a sophisticated urban-sporty edge to this watch. Easy to read, it offers smooth analog display complemented by a date complication shown through a white-background date window at 3 o'clock. At the center, two arrow-shaped hands in gray sweep across the semi-matte dial to indicate the hours and minutes. A slim "Paddle" seconds hand joins them to display the seconds. All three hands point to a minute track printed around the dial edge in white lines. The hours are marked by three Arabic numeral indices at 6, 9, and 12 o'clock, and by nine baton indices for the remaining positions - with the one at 3 o'clock slightly narrower than the rest. These indices and the hands are all coated with a white luminescent material for excellent visibility in low-light conditions. The dial also features a rotating inner bezel graduated with a minute track, allowing you to measure elapsed time - for instance during a dive - or set the time for a second time zone. Finally, the brand signs the watch with its name below 12 o'clock, with the crystal type printed above it, and at 6 o'clock the collection name, case material, movement type, water resistance, and the mentions "Besançon" and "France".
Powering this timepiece is an automatic movement made in Japan, renowned for its performance, reliability, and precision. Manufactured by Miyota, the caliber 8215 with 21 jewels drives the hands and date window with smooth, accurate timekeeping throughout the day. Equipped with a stop-seconds mechanism, this movement beats at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour - or 3 Hz - and delivers a 42-hour power reserve.
This watch comes with two straps that are easily interchangeable thanks to their spring bars, letting you switch up your look effortlessly. Both feature a 20 mm lug width and a chrome pin buckle for a secure and comfortable fit.
The first strap is made of fabric and delivers a refined, sporty aesthetic that pairs seamlessly with any outfit. It comes in dark gray with two lighter-toned stripes running through it for a polished wrist look. Comfortable and pleasant to wear, it's the perfect companion for every adventure.
The second strap is crafted in rubber with a striking "carbon-effect" design that gives the watch a sleek, laid-back edge. Its black color pairs effortlessly with any outfit, day or night, for a look that's equal parts sporty and refined. This strap hugs the contours of your wrist with precision while delivering all-day comfort.
This model offers a water resistance of 20 atmospheres, or 200 meters. This watch is built to go wherever your aquatic adventures take you - deep included. Designed for freediving, it holds its own against high-pressure washers too, so no need to take it off for a rinse. Showering, bathing, lap swimming, and freediving are all fair game. That said, for scuba diving with tanks, we recommend a timepiece with a higher water resistance rating. Also, avoid operating the crown or pushers while submerged to keep the movement fully protected.
