Casio was founded in 1946 by the Kashio brothers in Japan. The brand made its name in electronics through calculator manufacturing before setting its sights on watchmaking. Now, as part of the Capsule Fine Metallic series, Casio presents this stunning GM-2100YM-8AER Watch in a silver tone. Built for diving, this G-Shock model features a shock-resistant case crafted from glass-fiber reinforced resin combined with stainless steel. The octagonal case measures 44.40 mm in diameter, 49.30 mm in length, 11.80 mm in thickness, and weighs 84 g. A mineral crystal sits above the dial for a clear view, while four pushers on each side manage all functions. The screw-back case ensures 20 ATM water resistance.
The dial on this timepiece features a gray tone with a brushed finish. A minute track and oversized indices mark the hours around the perimeter, with two central hands indicating the hours and minutes - both finished with a Neobrite coating for enhanced low-light readability. A date counter sits at 9 o'clock, while a digital display at approximately 5 o'clock shows additional functions. The brand name and collection name "G-Shock" are signed below 12 o'clock as a mark of authenticity.

This model offers 20 atmospheres of water resistance - that's 200 meters. Built for freediving, it handles showers, baths, lap swimming, and snorkeling with ease. High-pressure water jets are no match either. For scuba diving with tanks, we recommend a higher water resistance rating.
