The Watch

Casio G-Shock is proud to introduce the GST-B400-1AER, the newest addition to the G-Steel Slim collection. Blending technology, elegance, and sporty design, this model boasts a slimmer case than the standard G-Steel lineup - measuring 49.6 mm in diameter and just 12.9 mm thick. Built from brushed stainless steel and reinforced with carbon fiber, the shock-resistant case is topped by a branded bezel that adds character and identifies the 4 pushers at 2, 4, 8, and 10 o'clock with engravings (adjust, light, mode, search). A mineral glass crystal shields the dial from impacts and scratches, while a screw-locked caseback delivers water resistance to 200 meters. Tough and technologically advanced, this watch is your ideal companion for any adventure - equally at home on the sports field, in the water, or worn day to day.

The Dial

The round black dial offers both analog and digital readouts. At its center, two large light gray hands indicate the hours and minutes using black baton hour markers and a red minute track. At 9 o'clock, a subdial displays the battery level. Two additional subdials at 3 and 6 o'clock feature digital displays for functions such as the date and stopwatch. The brand's signature appears at 12 o'clock.

Functions

Bluetooth® Smart: The watch features energy-efficient Bluetooth® technology for one-touch data exchange. The Bluetooth® function wirelessly connects the watch to a smartphone, unlocking a wide range of convenient features.

Super Illuminator: A single button press floods the dial with vibrant, on-trend colors.

Shock Resistance: The shock-resistant structure protects the watch against impacts and vibrations.

World Time Function: The world time function displays the current time in 29 time zones and major cities around the globe.

Stopwatch - 1/100 sec - 24 Hours: Measures elapsed time to 1/100th-of-a-second precision over a maximum duration of 24 hours. An audible signal confirms the start and stop of the stopwatch.

Countdown Timers - 1/1 sec - 1 Hour: For precision lovers: countdown timers keep you on schedule by emitting an audible signal at the set date and time for important or recurring events.

5 Daily Alarms: An audible alarm reminds you of your commitments at the set time every day. This model features five independent alarms for maximum flexibility in managing your important appointments.

Hand Shift Function: This function moves the hands out of the way when they obstruct the display of the time, date, or stopwatch.

Solar Power: Solar cells provide autonomous, eco-friendly energy. Any surplus solar energy is stored in a rechargeable battery.

Phone Finder Function: Misplaced your smartphone? Simply press one of the watch's buttons and your smartphone will emit an alert.

Day Display in Multiple Languages: The day of the week can be displayed in the language of your choice.

Button Beep On/Off: The button beep can be turned off using the mode button. Once disabled, no beep sounds when switching between functions. However, any programmed alarms or countdown timers remain active after the button beep is turned off.

Auto Calendar: Once set, the auto calendar always displays the correct date.

12/24-Hour Time Format: You can display the time in either 12-hour or 24-hour format.

Battery Level Indicator: Displays the current battery level.

The Movement

This watch is powered by a solar quartz movement that drives the two hands and various subdials to deliver analog and digital readouts. Reliable and precise, it tracks hours, minutes, seconds, day, date, and a host of additional features.

The Strap

Perfectly suited for sports and fully water-resistant, the black resin strap wins you over with its comfort. Matching the dial's design, it features a textured finish. Flexible and comfortable, it adjusts and fastens easily with a silver pin buckle.

Water Resistance

With water resistance up to 20 atmospheres - equivalent to 200 meters - this model is what you'd confidently call a "dive watch." Our watchmaking experts agree: this timepiece handles showers, baths, swimming, freediving, and recreational scuba diving with ease, but is not intended for extreme deep-sea diving where pressure would push beyond its limits. For professional divers chasing serious depths, we recommend models rated at 30 atmospheres or more. We also advise against operating the pushers or crown while submerged to maintain a perfect seal.
