The Watch

Casio G-Shock unveils its GBD-200UU-9ER from the G-Squad Utility Color line. Built for athletes, this collection is packed with sport-focused features that perform when it counts. Designed to take a beating, the case is constructed from carbon fiber-reinforced resin. A mineral crystal shields the dial from scratches and impacts. The screw-secured caseback delivers a watertight seal of 20 atmospheres, unlocking full compatibility with water sports. Four pushers - positioned on both sides - keep every function within easy reach. Finally, this timepiece is an ideal fit for men's wrists, thanks to its dimensions of 45.50 mm wide, 48.60 mm tall, and 11.90 mm thick.

The Dial

With its bold rectangular shape, the dial features a digital display in white on a black background. This display delivers a wealth of information and features - including time, date, stopwatch, and step count, with more to discover below or during daily use. For low-light situations, the watch comes equipped with Super-Auto LED Light illumination. Bluetooth connectivity lets you pair your smartphone for even more functionality. The brand's signature appears at the top of the dial.

The Functions

- Bluetooth® Smart: the watch is equipped with energy-efficient Bluetooth® technology, enabling data exchange at the press of a button. Bluetooth® wirelessly connects the watch to your smartphone, unlocking a wide range of practical features.

- Smartphone time: when the watch is paired with a smartphone, the time is set automatically and always shows the current local time anywhere in the world.

- Super-Auto LED Light: when ambient light drops, a flick of the wrist floods the dial with a powerful, colorful glow.

- Shock Resistance: the shock-resistant structure protects the watch against impacts and vibrations.

- Calories Burned Calculator (CAL): this function calculates calories burned and saves the result.

- Step Counter: the watch tracks your total step count.

- Accelerometer: the accelerometer reacts to acceleration and displays speed on screen. It also powers the watch's auto-rotate function, ensuring the display always appears right-side up.

- Training Log: a training journal records step count, calorie burn, distance, and lap times, allowing you to compare training sessions over time.

- Training Planner: set individual training goals

- Training Analysis: analysis of training status, fitness level, training load as well as recovery time.

- World Time Function: displays the current time in 29 time zones and major cities around the world.

- Stopwatch - 1/100 sec - 100 hrs: measures elapsed time, split time, and lap time to the nearest second. Audible signals confirm start and stop. Maximum measurement time: 100 hours.

- 100-Lap Memory: stores lap times, split times, and elapsed times with date stamps for later review. Each data set includes: date, elapsed time, lap time, and split times. The memory can hold up to 100 such data sets.

- 5 Countdown Timers - 1/1 sec - 60 minutes (with auto-repeat function): this model features five independent countdown timers that sound an alert when the set time elapses, then automatically restart from the preset time. Measurement capacity reaches up to 60 minutes and can be adjusted in 1-second increments.

- 4 Daily Alarms: an audible alarm reminds you of your commitments every day at the set time. This model features four independent alarms, giving you the flexibility to keep track of all your important appointments.

- Snooze Function: every time you stop the alarm, it triggers again a few minutes later.

- Vibration Alarm: the vibration alarm discreetly reminds you of important appointments - no audible sound required.

- Button Beep On/Off: the button beep can be muted using the mode button. Once disabled, no beep sounds when cycling through functions. However, any programmed alarms or countdown timers remain active after the button beep is turned off.

- Find My Phone: misplaced your smartphone? Just press a button on the watch to trigger an alert on your phone.

- Incoming Call Indicator: whenever you receive a call on your smartphone, a notification appears on the watch

- Incoming Email Indicator: when an email arrives, the sender's name is displayed on the watch.

- Airplane Mode (offline mode): put your watch into offline mode with a single button press. This lets you disable the radio or GPS receiver on your watch - useful during a flight, for example.

- 12/24-Hour Time Format: switch between 12-hour and 24-hour display modes.

The Movement

The quartz movement brings the watch's digital display to life. The battery inside will power the watch for two years.

The Bracelet

Water Resistance

With 200-meter water resistance - or 20 ATM for those who prefer the watchmaker's precise vocabulary - this watch is built for shallow-water diving.
