The Watch

For years, the iconic Japanese brand Casio has stood among the greats in watchmaking. It crafts practical, everyday timepieces celebrated for their comfort and versatile features. From its G-SHOCK collection comes the GMD-S5600-7ER watch. This model features a white resin case measuring 45.7 mm in length, 40.5 mm in width, and 11.9 mm in thickness. Octagonal in shape and weighing 41 grams, it is topped by a mineral glass crystal protecting the dial and marked with the collection name and the word "protection". Four silver push-buttons are positioned on the sides to activate the watch's functions. The screw-secured caseback ensures water resistance up to 20 ATM.

The Dial

This black dial gives the watch an elegant edge. With its digital display, you'll find a day-of-week indicator on the left, and the hours, minutes, and seconds readout on the lower right - along with a countdown timer and an alarm mode. The Super Illuminator function keeps everything readable day and night.

For the precision-minded: countdown timers remind you of important or recurring events with an audible signal at the set date and time - then automatically count down again from the pre-programmed time. Time can be programmed in seconds, up to 24 hours in advance - a particularly handy feature for daily medication reminders or recurring training sessions.

Multiple Alarm, Hourly Signal

You can set a daily alarm (time only) or an alarm for a specific day and time (month, day, and time). The number shown indicates how many multiple alarms are available. When the hourly signal is enabled, the watch beeps on every hour.

12/24-Hour Time Format

You can display the time in 12-hour or 24-hour format.

Automatic Calendar

Once set, the automatic calendar always displays the correct date.

The Movement

At the heart of this watch beats a Casio quartz movement - a Japanese mechanism powered by a battery lasting approximately 3 years.

The Strap

This timepiece comes with a white synthetic resin strap. Known for its flexibility and durability, it delivers lasting comfort and toughness. It fastens and adjusts easily with a pin buckle.

Water Resistance

With water resistance rated at 20 atmospheres - equivalent to 200 meters - this model earns the "dive watch" title without hesitation. Our watchmaking experts agree: it handles showers, baths, lap swimming, freediving, and recreational scuba with ease. That said, it's not designed for extreme deep-sea diving, where pressure would ultimately compromise its seal. For professional divers pushing depth records, we recommend models rated 30 atmospheres and above. We also advise against operating the push-buttons or crown while submerged, to maintain a perfect seal.
