The Watch

Casio is an electronics manufacturer founded in 1946 by Tadao Kashio. The brand made history with its line of ultra-durable G-Shock watches, built lightweight yet tough enough to take on anything. Built on the iconic octagonal shape of the 2100, the new GM-2100CB-3AER features a 44 mm diameter case with a lug-to-lug of 49.3 mm. It's constructed from glass-fiber-reinforced resin combined with stainless steel. Lightweight at 72 grams, it measures 11.8 mm thick. The bezel displays key function labels that you can access via 4 pushers positioned on either side of the case. The dial is protected by a mineral crystal, and the screw-secured case back ensures 20 ATM water resistance.

The Dial

This watch pays tribute to a popular retro look with its octagonal silhouette and analog-digital dual display. The black dial features a vapor deposition finish for a metallic appearance. For easy reading in low-light conditions, this model is equipped with LED illumination and two luminescent hands for full visibility. These hands sweep over a minute track and baton indexes accented in blue every 3 hours. A sub-dial indicating the day sits at 9 o'clock, while the digital display is positioned between 3 and 6 o'clock. Finally, the brand inscribes its name in grey lettering and the collection name in blue beneath 12 o'clock.

The world time function displays the time across 29 time zones and major cities around the world.

Stopwatch 1/100 sec - 24 hours

Measures elapsed time to 1/100th of a second accuracy for up to 24 hours. An audible signal confirms when the stopwatch starts and stops.

Countdown timers - 1/1 sec - 24 hours

For those who value precision: countdown timers alert you to important or recurring events with an audible signal at the set date and time. The countdown can be programmed in seconds, up to 24 hours in advance.

5 daily alarms

A daily audible alarm reminds you of your commitments at the programmed time. This model features five independent alarms, giving you the flexibility to stay on top of all your important appointments.

Hand Shift Function

This function moves the hands out of the way when they obstruct the display of the time, date, or stopwatch function.

Key Beep On/Off

The key beep can be turned off using the mode button. Once disabled, there is no beep when switching between functions. However, any programmed alarms or countdown timers remain active even after the key beep is turned off.

Auto Calendar

Once programmed, the auto-calendar always displays the correct date.

12/24-Hour Time Format

You can display the time in 12-hour or 24-hour format.

The Movement

The Strap

Water Resistance

With water resistance rated at 20 atmospheres, equivalent to 200 meters, this model can confidently be called a "dive watch." Our watchmaking experts agree that while this timepiece handles showers, baths, recreational swimming, freediving, and leisure scuba diving with ease, it is not designed for extreme deep-sea diving, where pressure would eventually compromise its water resistance. For professional divers looking to push depth limits, we recommend exploring models rated 30 atmospheres and above. We also advise against operating the pushers or crown while submerged, to maintain a perfect seal at all times!
