The Watch

In 1961, German watchmaker Helmut Sinn founded the Sinn watch company in Frankfurt am Main. The brand carries a rich history, exemplified by the EZM 2B watches used by the German naval special forces. Sinn presents the EZM 13.1 613.011 - a model built around a screw-back case in stainless steel measuring 41mm in diameter and 15mm in thickness. The watch weighs 98 grams. On the left side of the case, a crown and 2 pushers control the chronograph function. The crown is also screw-down. A sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment on both sides protects the dial. A mechanical movement powers the watch. Water resistance reaches 50 ATM (500m) - a necessity, as this timepiece is purpose-built for diving. It meets the technical requirements of diving standards and complies with European diving norms. If the deep is your passion, this is your watch. Still not convinced? The Dial

The black dial features white and red accents. The chronograph function is expressed through 2 sub-dials. The first, positioned at 3 o'clock, displays a railroad track and grey Arabic numerals. The second, at 6 o'clock, features a railroad track and white Arabic numerals. Both sub-dials measure minutes via a white luminous hand. Additional details include: a date window between 4 and 5 o'clock, the ar-dehumidification technology logo on the left side of the dial, and the brand name at the top. The dial also carries 12 white luminous baton indices and a white railroad track. Note that the 12 o'clock index is doubled. Finally, 3 hands sweep the dial - all luminous in grey and white.

The Movement

The movement is mechanical, designated Sinn SZ02. This automatic caliber features 26 jewels, delivers a 42-hour power reserve, and beats at 28,800 vph. It also includes a stop-seconds function.

The Strap

A black silicone strap pairs with the case, which features a 20mm lug width. It lends a sporty edge to your wrist.

Water Resistance

This model offers water resistance to 50 atmospheres - 500 meters.
