The Dial

The matte black dial captivates with its elegant simplicity and meaningful details. Cream Arabic numerals, enhanced with SuperLuminova, ensure perfect legibility day and night, glowing as the light fades. At 9 o'clock, an engraved airplane motif pays tribute to Carranza's aircraft, adding a surprising historical touch. The small seconds hand is shaped like a propeller, carrying the aeronautical theme through with particular finesse. Three sub-dials (30 minutes, 12 hours and small seconds) adorn the dial, with a discreet date window at 4 o'clock. The whole is protected by a domed sapphire crystal, scratch-resistant and anti-reflective for optimal clarity.

The Movement

At the heart of this watch beats the legendary ETA 7750 caliber, a Swiss automatic movement renowned for its precision, delivering a power reserve of 48 hours. Also known as the Valjoux, this caliber features an oscillating rotor visible through the screw-down caseback, which also provides excellent moisture protection. Beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour, this mechanism delivers exceptional accuracy across all the functions this chronograph has to offer. Notable complications include a full chronograph function with counters for 12 hours, 30 minutes, and a small seconds display, along with a date window.
