Elka Watch Co., founded by Hakim El Kadiri, offers watch collections rooted in classic and traditional design. As a tribute to the storied Dutch brand Elka Watch, it unveils models crafted with meticulous attention to quality, functionality, and detail. This stunning X09 watch is a perfect example - making its mark with flawless finishing and a retro-urban style. Its round case, crafted in 316L stainless steel, measures 40.80 mm in diameter, 10.80 mm thick, and 46.50 mm lug-to-lug. Designed to dress men's wrists, it will elevate every outfit with its refined look and brushed and polished finishing. The dial is protected by an anti-scratch chevé-type sapphire crystal that shields it from shocks and scratches. Its anti-reflective treatment ensures effortless readability, while the brand-signed crown at 3 o'clock allows easy adjustment of the central indicators - with a knurled grip for better handling. Finally, the screw-down case back delivers a water resistance of 3 ATM.

The Dial

Dressed in a stunning black-to-beige gradient, the dial of this model offers absolute reading comfort. It captivates with its minimalist, clean style enhanced by a smoked finish and orange and white indicators. The two leaf-shaped hands at the center will efficiently indicate the hours with the short hand and the minutes with the long one. They are filled with a beige Superluminova treatment for legibility even in the dark. They are paired with a beige seconds hand to track the seconds. The dial ring features a minute track supported by Arabic numerals with an "old Tritium effect" that serve as minute markers. The hours can be identified by the triangles alongside the minute track. A black date window at 3 o'clock indicates the day of the month. Finally, the brand signs its name at 12 o'clock and places the country of manufacture opposite.

The Movement

This beautiful watch is powered by a highly reliable and robust automatic movement that delivers precise analog timekeeping. It's the La Joux Perret G100 caliber, beating at an oscillation frequency of 28,800 vph and offering a power reserve of 68 hours. It also features a stop-seconds mechanism for accurate time-setting and ensures the smooth operation of both the hands and the date window.

The Strap

The brand offers this beautiful timepiece with three straps to choose from via the dropdown menu. Each measures 20.00 mm wide at the lug and fastens with an Elka-signed pin buckle of 18 mm for effortless handling.

The first NATO strap comes in beige and adds a chic, sporty edge to the whole look. You'll love its grooved texture and lightweight feel for a clean, polished style.

The second strap wins you over with its chic, urban design. Crafted in cognac suede leather, it harmonizes perfectly with the rest of the model and adds an extraordinary touch of elegance. Its padded style ensures a comfortable, lightweight wear.

Water Resistance

With a water resistance of 30 meters - or 3 atmospheres in watchmaking terms - this watch is far from a water lover. Water is the worst enemy of its delicate mechanism, and our team strongly recommends keeping it dry. Rain or doing the dishes? No problem. But don't take it in the shower, the bath, the pool, or anywhere near the ocean floor - it clearly prefers to stay dry!
