The Watch

The Croft collection by British brand Spinnaker delivers watches with performance worthy of the legend it proudly embodies. Inspired by Robert Croft - U.S. Navy diving instructor and the first diver to reach 200 feet in free diving in 1967 - this collection means business. This model pairs a bold, masculine stainless steel case measuring 40mm in diameter and 13.8mm thick with an anti-reflective sapphire crystal for outstanding scratch resistance. A stunning electric-blue graduated unidirectional bezel encircles the case, ready to log your underwater achievements. A screw-down crown at 3 o'clock lets you wind the movement and set the time or date at will. The case back seals the deal with water resistance up to 15 atmospheres.

The Dial

The round dial sports a breathtaking black and blue face with a sandblasted finish - deep-sea hues that are impossible to resist. At its center, three hands display hours, minutes, and seconds, partially coated with luminescent treatment for optimal readability even in the darkest depths. Hour markers - also luminescent - take on varying geometric shapes: rectangular at 12, 6, and 9 o'clock, and round for all other hours. A railroad minute track runs along the outer edge for precision timing. A date window sits at 3 o'clock, complete with a magnifying lens for easy reading. The brand name appears at 12 o'clock, while movement type and water resistance rating are displayed at 6 o'clock.

A word of caution, though: while our watchmaking experts agree that this timepiece handles showers, baths, lap swimming, and freediving with ease, it is not designed for professional scuba diving with tanks, where the pressure would exceed its rating. For professional divers, we recommend models rated at 30 atmospheres or more. We also advise against operating the push-buttons or crown while in the water, in order to maintain a perfect seal.
