With its powerful mechanical alarm whose sound mimics a cricket's chirp, this watch gained worldwide acclaim and was even worn by several American presidents, earning it the nickname "the Presidents' Watch". For this re-edition, five vibrant dial colors ensure you look sharp on every occasion. This model features a round case crafted in polished and satin-finished 316L stainless steel, housing a grooved grey crown at 3 o'clock. Beneath the domed sapphire crystal - with its anti-reflective treatment for clear, effortless reading - every detail of the dial comes to life. This timepiece offers a choice of two case backs: a solid screwed steel back or a transparent sapphire crystal back revealing the movement's inner workings. Both provide a water resistance of 5 ATM.

The Dial

This immaculately finished dial adds a brilliant dimension to this timepiece. Its black background pairs beautifully with any color palette. Enhanced by a double semi-matte and sunray finish, it delivers reliable, at-a-glance timekeeping. The outer edge features Arabic numerals at 10-unit intervals, tracked by the slender arrow hand dedicated to the alarm function. A minute track follows, swept by the long hand, while the short hand glides over the baton hour indexes. The seconds are displayed by a slim seconds hand in the same elegant grey tone as the other time indicators. The dial is signed "Swiss Made" near 6 o'clock, along with the brand name and collection name beneath the 12 o'clock index.

The Movement

At the heart of this watch beats a manual-winding mechanical movement, 12-line V-10. An in-house manufacture, it oscillates at a frequency of 18,000 vph and is fitted with 25 jewels to minimize friction. Reliable and robust, it incorporates 165 components and features a double barrel with an Exactomatic system for outstanding precision. This mechanism delivers a power reserve of 52 hours and is decorated with skeletonized click springs, blued screws, and a nickel-plated finish.

The Strap

This watch comes with 5 interchangeable straps selectable from the dropdown menu. Each is crafted in calf leather with tone-on-tone stitching for a polished effect. Supple and durable, they each feature a grey tang buckle for easy adjustment.

The last strap is brown and provides a light, comfortable fit. Featuring alligator prints as well, it adds elegant flair to your wrist and complements any color palette.

Water Resistance

With a water resistance of 50 meters - or 5 ATM in watchmaking terms - this timepiece handles the occasional splash without complaint, but isn't built for prolonged water contact. You can wear it in the shower from time to time, but to preserve the quality and precision of the movement, our watch specialists strongly advise keeping it away from baths, pools, and the sea. In short: no swimming, no diving, no extended exposure to water.
