Embellished with the embossed Fleur-de-Lys logo, the crown at 3 o'clock handles manual setting and winding of the hours, minutes, and date. Finally, the case back secured by six screws ensures 10 ATM water resistance while the sapphire crystal display window lets you admire the movement within.

The Dial

The watch showcases a gold-toned dial that exudes a brilliant subtlety and timeless elegance. Of round shape, it features vertically brushed lines for a striking effect on the wrist. Two skeleton hands coated with Super Luminova-TC1 and a slender seconds hand sweep across the dial. Yellow gold 4N-plated, they display the hours, minutes, and seconds in both bright and dark environments. The perimeter features a minute track graduated with black dashes and separated every 5 minutes by yellow gold 4N-plated baton indexes, making it easy to tell the time. A double baton marks 12 o'clock for a refined touch. A date window with a white background sits at 3 o'clock. Pequignet signs the watch at 12 o'clock with its name and adds the mention "Manufacture Française" at 6 o'clock.

The Movement

This timepiece comes to life through a French-made automatic movement that is both highly performant and reliable. Manufactured in-house by Pequignet, the Initial Caliber ensures the smooth and accurate motion of the hands and date window. Equipped with a patented instant date-jump system and stop-seconds device, it features 21 jewels and runs at 28,800 beats per hour (4 Hz). With a 65-hour power reserve, it lets you read the hours, minutes, seconds, and date with precision and confidence.
