The Concorde Damas watch is the result of an exceptional collaboration between French watchmaking manufacture Pequignet and Michelin-starred chef Matthias Marc. This unique co-creation brings together two worlds of excellence: haute horlogerie and haute cuisine. Limited to just 50 pieces, this watch stands out with its dial and bezel crafted from genuine Damascus steel, the iconic material of chef's knives. Chef Matthias Marc, ambassador of the manufacture and deeply connected to Franche-Comté just like Pequignet, was involved in every stage of creation to bring to life a watch that celebrates precision craftsmanship and a pursuit of excellence. This piece embodies the meeting of two exceptional crafts, where watchmaking rigor meets culinary precision. It comes with a leather case inspired by knife rolls, along with a pocket knife whose blade is also crafted from Damascus steel.

With a square case measuring 36 mm in diameter and 9.25 mm thick, its silhouette strikes a balance between modernity and understated elegance. Crafted in 316L stainless steel, the watch features a brushed/satin matte finish that adds a sophisticated touch and enhanced resistance for daily wear. The transparent caseback, secured by screws and protected by a sapphire crystal, offers a stunning view of the intricate movement inside.

The Dial

The dial is the centerpiece of this watch's beauty. Crafted from Damascus steel, it delivers a captivating and timeless aesthetic. This material, traditionally used for fine knife blades, gives the dial unmatched depth and texture. The analog display features SuperLuminova-treated hands, ensuring optimal legibility even in low-light conditions. At the heart of the watch beats an exceptional movement, the calibre Initial, designed and manufactured by Pequignet. This French automatic mechanism runs at an oscillation frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz), delivering outstanding chronometric precision. With a power reserve of 65 hours, it offers impressive autonomy for everyday wear. The hacking seconds feature allows for precise time-setting, a welcome touch for perfectionists.

The Strap

The strap, the cornerstone of comfort and style, is crafted from 316L stainless steel and black rubber. This innovative combination delivers resistance, flexibility, and elegance in equal measure. The custom-designed lug ensures a perfect wrist fit, while the double-secured closure features both an ardillon buckle and a deployant clasp.
