Its case features Briston's signature curved square shape, crafted from cellulose acetate made in Italy with a mirror polish finish for a refined, comfortable wear. Its brown tortoiseshell design adds a layer of sophistication. Measuring 39 mm wide, 39 mm long, and 12.90 mm thick, it sits elegantly on the wrist. Departing from watchmaking tradition, a notched, screwed crown is positioned at 4 o'clock, fitted with a black insert for time setting. The watch also features a bidirectional notched bezel in polished 316L stainless steel with a matte black aluminum insert. Originally used by airline pilots to calculate flight hours, it helps you read a second time zone via its 12-hour scale marked in white. A scratch-resistant sapphire crystal covers the dial, featuring an anti-reflective coating on the inner surface. At 3.15 mm thick, it provides optimal shock protection and flawless legibility from every angle. The six-screw caseback ensures 50-meter water resistance, while the open heart lets you admire the movement's balance wheel.

The Dial

This round dial with a 28.50 mm diameter opening is draped in a deep black that lends it an understated elegance. Its semi-gloss finish draws on 1950s watch design, reinforcing the timepiece's retro character. Two baton hands in brushed steel with a white Superluminova C1 coating sweep above, delivering legible time display in any lighting. A small seconds subdial at 6 o'clock completes the picture, featuring a silver-white background, a black crosshair marker, and a black PVD-treated steel small hand with a white Superluminova C1 layer. This luminescent treatment extends to the eleven Arabic numeral indices around the dial for optimal dark-condition readability. Alongside four small triangular markers, these allow for quick hour identification. The rehaut also features a classic minute track with black square markers every 5 minutes. Briston signs the watch below 12 o'clock with its name, followed by the movement type.

The Movement

This timepiece is powered by an automatic movement - specifically the caliber 82S5 - guaranteeing smooth, reliable hand motion. This Japanese-made mechanism with 21 jewels is manufactured by Miyota and is trusted for its performance in any situation. Fitted with a stop-seconds device, it beats at 3 Hz - or 21,600 vibrations per hour - and delivers a 42-hour power reserve. Hours, minutes, and seconds are displayed with precision all day long.

The Strap

This beautiful watch is mounted on a vintage calfskin leather strap specially developed by Briston. Its refined, timeless design pairs effortlessly with any outfit thanks to its matte black color, resting delicately and comfortably on the wrist. Accented with tone-on-tone stitching and equipped with a presto system for easy swapping, it features a 20 mm lug width, a 75 mm short length, and a 115 mm long length. Water Resistance

This model offers water resistance of 5 atmospheres, or 50 m. Built to be as beautiful as it is capable, it holds its own against the elements. You can wear it in the shower, though the Ocarat team recommends leaving it by the sink to preserve its brilliance and integrity over time. As for swimming and diving, we strongly advise against wearing this watch in those conditions to avoid damage and costly repairs.
