The Watch

Frédérique Constant was born in 1983 from the shared dream of Peter Stas and his wife Aletta Bax. This watchmaking brand is a Swiss manufacture producing both traditional quartz and mechanical timepieces. It diversifies its range with models for both women and men while maintaining a resolutely classic and vintage style. From the Classics Carrée Ladies collection, this stunning rose gold-tone watch is presented here. It features a rectangular case crafted in stainless steel. Its polished finish will beautifully adorn women's wrists while lending them a distinguished look. The case measures 5.80 mm thick, 23 mm in length, and 21 mm in width. A flat sapphire crystal sits atop the case to protect the dial from external shocks and scratches. A notched crown is positioned at 3 o'clock for setting the various functions. Finally, a water resistance of 3 ATM is guaranteed by the screw-down caseback of this timepiece.

The Dial

With its rectangular shape, this white-background dial brings a touch of purity to the watch. It is enhanced by a double-circle finish sure to win you over. Black Roman numeral indices set against a semi-matte background run along its perimeter, making it easy to read the time. They frame a minute track and are swept by two black pear-shaped hands positioned at the center of the dial, featuring a clous de Paris finish. These hands display the hours and minutes. To complete the dial beautifully, the brand name is placed just below the 12 o'clock index, while the country of manufacture is inscribed between 5 and 7 o'clock.

The Movement

This timepiece houses a Swiss-made quartz movement - more precisely the FC-200 caliber based on the Ronda 1062, fitted with 4 jewels, which will drive the analog display with precision. The battery life of this model is approximately 72 months.

The Strap

With a vintage aesthetic, this calfskin leather strap features a rich burgundy color. Its crocodile-pattern finish and the contrast stitching running along its edges complete a truly refined design. The lug width of this strap is 15 mm, and its length is 80 × 110 mm. It fastens securely with a rose gold-tone pin buckle measuring 12 mm in width.

Water Resistance

With a water resistance of 3 atmospheres, equivalent to 30 meters, this watch is not built to handle aquatic environments. You can keep it on while washing your hands or doing light housework involving a little water - but experts strongly recommend leaving it on your nightstand before jumping in the shower or bath, or locking it in the hotel safe before heading to the pool or the turquoise sea at your vacation destination.
