The Watch

With a round case made of stainless steel and measuring 39 millimeters in diameter, this City model is designed for men who want an elegant watch that balances sophistication with classic style. The case has a rose gold PVD coating and is topped with scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. A single crown at 3 o’clock adjusts the functions of the Swiss quartz movement inside, while the case back is press-fit. A simple, urban watch for everyday wear.

The Dial

Urban style meets retro-inspired touches on a dial that feels modern yet timeless. The hour and minute hands are made of steel with a rose gold PVD finish and a luminous coating for better legibility. The central seconds hand has a rose gold PVD finish and sweeps along a white railroad minute track, accented by square luminous markers at the hour positions. Rose gold-colored baton hour markers are paired with three Arabic numerals at 3, 9, and 12 o’clock. At 6 o’clock, the date window has a rose gold-colored border. The Herbelin logo and name sit at 12 o’clock.

The Movement

At the heart of this watch is a Swiss-made movement. The 3-jewel ETA Trendline F06.111 caliber displays the hours, minutes, seconds, and date, with a date window at 6 o’clock.

The Strap

The elegant, urban Michel Herbelin City watch comes with a strap made of genuine leather in black, with a crocodile-pattern finish. It fastens with a stainless steel pin buckle engraved with the watchmaker’s name. The lug width is 20 millimeters.

Water Resistance

With a water-resistance rating of 50 meters, or 5 ATM in watchmaking terms, this watch can handle water but should not be exposed to it for long. An occasional shower is fine, but to help preserve the quality and accuracy of the movement, our watch specialists strongly recommend keeping it out of the bath, pool, and sea. In short, no swimming, scuba diving, or prolonged contact with or immersion in water.
