The Watch

The iconic Type 18, a true hallmark of French watchmaker LIP, gets a larger treatment: the Type 24. At 41.5mm long and 23.5mm wide, this timepiece loses none of its charm. Made in France, its rectangular case in 316L stainless steel delivers a refined vintage aesthetic. A mineral crystal provides reliable protection against everyday scratches and shocks. At the 3 o'clock position, a slim crown lets you set the hands to your preference. Like its predecessor, the Type 24 features a snap-on caseback ensuring water resistance up to 3 ATM.

The Dial

The T24 features a rectangular dial in silver. Its analog display is driven by two dauphine hands in blue, indicating the hours and minutes. A subtle seconds sub-dial sits at the 6 o'clock position. The hours are marked by Arabic numeral indices in black, with the 3, 6, 9, and 12 indices emphasized by their bolder weight. A refined minute track runs along the dial's outer edge. The French watchmaker LIP signs its creation beneath the 12 o'clock index, with a nod to its Besançon craftsmanship at 6 o'clock.

The Movement

This watch houses a quartz movement by Japanese manufacturer Miyota. It drives the hour, minute, and second hands with precision and fluid motion.

The Strap

This model features an elegant strap in genuine cowhide leather in blue, with a crocodile-embossed finish and tone-on-tone stitching. It fastens with a pin buckle in silver. The strap has a lug width of 20mm.

Water Resistance

This watch offers water resistance of 3 ATM, or 30m. It's designed to look stunning - not to take a swim. It shines at dinner parties and events, but water is not its element. Rain, splashes, and dishwater are fine; a shower, bath, swim, or dive are not. Keep it dry and it'll keep turning heads.
