At the start of 2024, Casio brought to the forefront of watchmaking a new lineup from its Baby-G collection, revisiting the polished aesthetic of its BGD-565 series with a more compact, slimmer build and trend-driven designs suited to every season. We present it today in a translucent version through this stunning BGD-565US-7ER watch - a timeless urban piece that is sure to turn heads. Designed for the active, modern woman - like you - it lets your unique style shine through with refinement and grace. Pair it with anything in your wardrobe: from a sporty look to a classic outfit, it delivers the elegant, on-trend touch that elevates every look. Built for shock resistance, durability, and comfort, its octagonal case is made from resin with a transparent finish for a striking wrist presence. It measures 38 mm wide and 42 mm long with a thickness of 11.30 mm - perfect proportions for all-day comfort. Weighing just 30 grams, it is topped by a matching bezel in the same octagonal, translucent design bearing the "Baby-G" and "Protection" markings. This surrounds a mineral crystal covering the dial. The various display elements are controlled by four silver-tone pushers on either side of the case, each labeled on the dial surround for intuitive use. The watch resists water pressure up to 10 bar, secured by a case back held in place by four screws.

The Dial

This watch delivers a crisp, clear digital display through its octagonal white dial. It shows the time, calendar information, and readouts for the stopwatch, alarm, and timer via its rectangular LCD screen. Centered on the dial, it features a gray background with black numerals. A single button press activates the Super Illuminator system for easy time-reading in the dark. Casio's name is proudly signed below 12 o'clock, while the model's water resistance is noted at 6 o'clock.

An LED flashes as soon as the set alarm, countdown timer, or hourly signal is triggered.

Stopwatch 1/100 sec - 24 Hours

Measures elapsed time to 1/100th of a second for up to 24 hours. An audible beep confirms the start and stop of the stopwatch.

Countdown Timer - 1/1 sec - 24 Hours (with Auto-Repeat)

For precision lovers: the countdown timers remind you of important or recurring events with an audible signal at the set date and time - then automatically count down from the preprogrammed duration. Time can be set in seconds, up to 24 hours in advance - a particularly useful feature for daily medication reminders or repeated workout intervals.

Multiple Alarm, Hourly Time Signal

You can set a daily alarm (time only) or an alarm for a specific date and time (month, day, and time). The value shown indicates the number of multiple alarms available. When the hourly time signal is enabled, the watch beeps at every hour change.

Auto Calendar

Once programmed, the auto calendar always displays the correct date.

12/24-Hour Time Format

You can display the time in 12-hour or 24-hour format.

The battery powers the watch for approx. 3 years.

With water resistance to 100 meters - or 10 ATM in watchmaking terms - this bold timepiece holds its own at a black-tie gala and in the water. Wear it in the shower, the bath, or the pool (even during an intense swim). That said, our watch experts want to be clear: this model is not designed for scuba diving, freediving, or high-pressure water jets.
