Shock-resistant, its case features an octagonal shape and is crafted from stainless steel with a polished finish for a striking on-wrist presence. Thoughtfully sized for men and women alike, it weighs 56 g, with a length of 45.90 mm, a width of 40.50 mm, and a thickness of 11 mm. The watch features a slimmer octagonal bezel than previous GM-S2100 models, lending it a more refined aesthetic. Finished with a brushed finish and engraved with "Protection" and "G-Shock" markings, the bezel frames a mineral crystal. The case middle houses four push buttons on either side, used to set the time and navigate through the digital functions. Finally, a screw-secured case back ensures this model's 20 ATM water resistance.

The Dial

The case features an elegant rose-colored dial that brings a refined, timeless quality to the overall design. With its polished, metallic finish and clean details, it delivers sharp legibility and effortless style for any occasion. At center stage, two gray baton-style hands indicate the hours and minutes - both luminescent for enhanced readability in low light. The bezel is graduated with a minute track, divided every 5 minutes by small luminescent rectangles to further boost visibility in the dark. Three-dimensional indexes are positioned around the dial for quick hour identification. Beyond its analog display, this watch also offers a digital display via an LCD screen positioned on the dial between 3 and 6 o'clock. This screen shows the time digitally and provides access to additional functions including world time, stopwatch, and calendar. The brand name and the "G-Shock" line designation are printed below 12 o'clock as a signature, while the model's water resistance rating is noted at 9 o'clock.

World Time Function

The world time function displays local time across 29 different time zones.

Stopwatch 1/100 sec - 24 Hours

Measures elapsed time to the nearest 1/100th of a second, for a maximum duration of 24 hours. An audible signal confirms the start and stop of the stopwatch.

Countdown Timers - 1/1 sec - 24 Hours

For the precision-minded: countdown timers alert you to important or recurring events with an audible signal at the set date and time. Time can be programmed in seconds, up to 24 hours in advance.

5 Daily Alarms

A daily audible alarm reminds you of your commitments at the set time. This model features five independent alarms, giving you the flexibility to stay on top of all your important appointments.

Hand Shift Function

This function lets you move the hands when they obstruct visibility of the time, date, or stopwatch function.

Button Beep On/Off

The button beep can be turned off using the mode button. Once disabled, no beep will sound when switching between functions. However, any programmed alarms or countdown timers remain active even after the button beep is turned off.

Auto-Calendar

Once set, the auto-calendar always displays the correct date.

12/24-Hour Time Format

You can display the time in either 12-hour or 24-hour format.

The battery provides the watch with enough power for approx. 3 years.

Water Resistance

With water resistance rated at 20 atmospheres - equivalent to 200 meters - this model more than qualifies as a true diver's watch. Our watchmaking experts agree: while it handles showers, baths, lap swimming, freediving, and recreational scuba with ease, it is not designed for extreme deep-sea diving, where the pressure would exceed its water resistance limits. For professional divers tackling serious depths, we recommend looking at models rated 30 ATM and above. We also recommend avoiding operating the push buttons or crown while in the water to maintain a perfect seal.
