The Watch

French watchmaking house Herbelin crafts timepieces that blend tradition with contemporary style. Today, it presents its Cap Camarat collection through the automatic model 1645B16. Designed for the modern man, this collection invites him to set sail with elegant and refined watches. This model features a round 316L stainless steel case measuring 40.5 mm in diameter and 10.35 mm thick, topped by a silver bezel. It pairs effortlessly with both casual and evening looks. At 3 o'clock, the screw crown allows you to set the hands and date window. The dial is protected from everyday shocks and scratches by a robust sapphire crystal. Finally, thanks to its screw-down caseback, this watch is water-resistant to 10 ATM, or 100 meters.

The Dial

A round dial in deep, striated green brings this watch to life. Its subtle sunray finish adds depth and dimension. At its center, two baton hour and minute hands and a slender seconds hand sweep gracefully over baton indexes and a railroad minute track. The hands and indexes are coated with a luminescent material for easy reading in low-light conditions. A date window sits at 6 o'clock. The brand name is printed at twelve o'clock, with the word "automatic" displayed just above the date window.

The Movement

An automatic movement beats at the heart of this watch. Of Swiss manufacture, it is specifically a Sellita 11 1/2 SW200-1. With an oscillation frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, 26 jewels, and a power reserve of 38 hours, it drives the hands and date window with precision and reliability.

The Strap

This timepiece is fitted with a stainless steel bracelet. Sleek with a brushed finish, it lends a sporty edge to the watch. It fastens via a deployant clasp featuring two push buttons for easy use. Note the 22 mm lug width.

Water Resistance

This model offers a water resistance of 10 atmospheres, or 100 meters - making it a genuinely water-resistant watch. Ready to dive into aquatic adventures with you, from puddles to the pool, it handles swimming without breaking a sweat. Showers, baths, and lap swimming are all fine. That said, Ocarat's watchmaking experts note that while water-resistant, this model is not suited for professional or recreational diving, and should not be exposed to high-pressure cleaning equipment.
