Brown Leather Bradner Watch SP-5062-05

The Watch
British watchmaking startup Spinnaker is unveiling a bold new collection. The Bradner line pays tribute to American diving pioneer Hugh Bradner, crafted for those who live to explore the deep. The SP-5062-05 features a marine-grade stainless steel case in silver tone. Built with unmistakably masculine proportions - 42mm in diameter and 14mm thick - it's covered by anti-reflective sapphire crystal to guard against scratches. The case is fitted with two crown/pushers at 2 and 4 o'clock, used to wind the movement, set the date, and adjust the inner bezel. Flip it over and you're treated to a stunning view of the rotor in motion through the screwed, transparent caseback.

The Dial
Inspired by the color of the ocean, this watch sports a stunning blue dial. Round and sunray-finished, it effortlessly complements any outfit. Three baton hands display hours, minutes, and seconds, while silver-toned square hour markers - with rectangular markers at 12, 6, and 9 - are framed by a black engraved minute track for precise timekeeping. An internal bezel circles the dial to track your performance - adjustable via the 4 o'clock crown with five-minute markers. The hands, indices, and bidirectional inner bezel are all treated with Superluminova, keeping you in control day and night. A date window with white characters on a black background sits at 3 o'clock. The brand signature appears at 12 o'clock, while Spinnaker displays the movement type and water resistance rating at 6 o'clock.

The Movement
This timepiece is powered by an automatic movement of Japanese manufacture. Built by Seiko, the NH35 caliber drives the hours, minutes, and seconds hands, as well as the date display. It offers a 41-hour power reserve and an oscillation frequency of 21,600 A/h.

The Strap
The SP-5062-05 comes with a water-resistant strap ready to follow you underwater. Hand-stitched with double stitching at both lugs, it showcases the young watchmaker's undeniable craftsmanship. Its camel color adds a vintage, on-trend touch to any look, fastening on men's wrists with a silver-tone pin buckle. The lug width is 20mm.

Water Resistance
Rated at 18 ATM (180 meters), this model qualifies without hesitation as a dive watch. A word of caution, though: our watchmaking experts agree that while this timepiece is more than up to the task for showers, baths, recreational swimming, and free diving, it is not designed for professional scuba diving, where the pressure would compromise its water resistance. For our professional diver friends, we recommend looking at models rated 30 ATM and above. We also advise against operating the pushers or crown while submerged, to maintain a perfect seal at all times!
