The Watch

With a proven track record spanning many years, Le Jour has built a reputation for crafting professional timepieces with precision engineering and high-end mechanical movements. The brand returns now with the LJ-BR-001 watch from the Brooklyn collection. It features a 316L stainless steel case measuring 47 mm in length with a 40 mm diameter. The surface is fitted with a fixed, fluted gray bezel, which sits above a domed sapphire crystal that shields the dial from potential shocks, complete with an anti-reflective coating. At 3 o'clock, a handsome silver screw-down crown handles all dial adjustments. At 11.50 mm thick, the case delivers 10 ATM water resistance, secured by a screw-down caseback featuring a stunning engraving of the iconic Brooklyn Bridge.

The Dial

Particularly striking, this dial in a black tone has everything you need for easy timekeeping. A gray minute track runs along the outer edge, followed by lance-shaped indexes in green with gray outlines. The 3, 9, and 12 o'clock positions feature Arabic numerals, while the remaining indexes are dagger-shaped. At 6 o'clock, a small date window displays today's date. At the center, three elegant hands - a short hour hand, a long minute hand, and a slender seconds hand - keep perfect time. All markers are coated with Super-LumiNova C3 for outstanding readability in the dark. Beneath the hands, the movement and Swiss Made designation are printed in gray. Set against a majestic Clous de Paris (Hobnail) finish, the brand signs the dial with its name in gray uppercase lettering.

The Movement

Water Resistance

This model offers a water resistance of 10 atmospheres, or 100 meters. This is a truly water-resistant timepiece! Its sporty design means it's ready to dive into aquatic adventures alongside you. From puddles to the swimming pool, this watch handles water exposure without breaking a sweat. Shower, bath, and casual swimming are no problem. That said, our Ocarat watchmaking experts want you to know that while this model is water-resistant, it is not designed for diving (professional or recreational) and should be kept away from high-pressure cleaning equipment. We also recommend keeping the crown and pushers dry during immersion.
