The Watch

Le Jour is a renowned Swiss watchmaking company founded in the 1960s, now making a triumphant return to the watch scene. Embracing their heritage, they craft modern classics using premium materials, mechanical movements, and breathtaking finishes. The brand presents this sleek LJ-BR-004 model, built around a 316L stainless steel case. Its round shape, 40 mm diameter, and 11.50 mm thickness make it the ultimate men's watch. Its standout detail is a fluted bezel encircling the case, lending it a bold, steady presence with a glinting shimmer that catches the light with every movement. The top of the case is fitted with a double-domed sapphire crystal - adding a much-appreciated vintage character while offering excellent resistance to impacts. On the right, a knurled screwed crown assists with hand and date adjustments. Finally, the screwed caseback guarantees water resistance to 100 meters, equivalent to 10 ATM.

The Dial

Graced with a charming champagne hue, this dial is elevated by a clous de Paris finish that adds a touch of elegance to its edges. The time is read via three classic hands - the hour and minute hands take a lance shape, while the seconds hand sports a sleek, slender profile. These three hands point to Arabic and dagger-shaped hour markers, delivering hours, minutes, and seconds at a glance. Nighttime readability is effortlessly ensured by the luminescent coating (Super-LumiNova C3) applied to both hands and markers. For added precision, a black minute track runs along the dial's edge. A date window at 6 o'clock keeps you informed of today's date. The brand places its signature below 12 o'clock and notes its movement and label at 6 o'clock.

The Movement

This watch is powered by the Swiss automatic SELLITA SW-200 movement. This 26-jewel caliber drives the hands indicating hours, minutes, seconds, and the date in the display window. It features a Stop Second device for setting the time to the exact second. This movement runs at a frequency of 28,800 vph, with a power reserve of 41 hours.

The Bracelet

To complete this timepiece, Le Jour selected a stainless steel link bracelet in silver. Its three rows of oyster-finish links will elevate your wrist while delivering total comfort and a smooth feel against the skin. With a 22 mm lug width, it fastens securely via a deployment clasp.

Water Resistance

This model offers water resistance of 10 atmospheres, or 100 meters. This is a genuinely water-resistant timepiece! Its appealing style makes it ready to take on aquatic adventures with you. From puddles to the pool, this watch handles splashes without complaint - showers, baths, and lap swimming are all fine. That said, our watchmaking experts at Ocarat want you to know that while this model is water-resistant, it is not suited for diving (professional or recreational) and should be kept away from high-pressure cleaning equipment. We also recommend avoiding use of the crown or pushers while submerged.
