Nixon is proud to present the Staple Blue Watch A1309-2889-00, designed from discarded plastics. The brand is committed to giving new life to plastics recovered from our oceans, transforming them into quality watches with a unique design. This eco-responsible timepiece features a rectangular case made from recycled plastic, measuring 38 millimeters in length - a refined and modern fit for men's wrists. It is fiber-reinforced for outstanding durability. Four push-buttons on either side of the case let you adjust the LCD dial settings. Made from black PVD-treated stainless steel, they are built to resist water exposure. The screw-secured caseback is also crafted in black PVD stainless steel, delivering 10 ATM water resistance. Finally, a mineral crystal sits over the dial to protect against everyday scratches and impacts.
With its rectangular shape fitting perfectly within the case, this watch's dial offers a digital display. Its black background shows hours, minutes, and seconds in digital format. You can access a variety of functions and display two simultaneously. The brand's name is signed on the upper portion of the dial.
Nixon has equipped this watch with an electronic movement. An exclusive digital LCD module with two independent mode sets delivers a fluid, precise display of the information listed above.
Made from eco-responsible rubber, the strap on this watch comes in a blue color that matches the case. Its plush rubber construction is highly durable and provides exceptional comfort and wrist support. It fastens with a black PVD steel ardillon buckle for a personalized fit. Note that the lug width is 22 millimeters.
With 100-meter water resistance - or 10 ATM in the language of watchmaking - this boldly styled timepiece transitions effortlessly from black-tie events to the water. Wear it in the shower, the bath, or while swimming (even during an intense workout). Keep in mind, however, that our team of watch experts confirms this model is not designed for scuba diving, freediving, or use with high-pressure water cleaners. Remember: shower, bath, and swimming only - and never operate the pushers or crown while submerged.
