The Watch

Swiss watchmaker Le Jour is renowned for delivering exceptional quality timepieces, built on Swiss craftsmanship and production. Drawing inspiration from the worlds of motorsport, nautical racing, and aviation, their models are designed to captivate watch enthusiasts and collectors alike. Today, they introduce the Blue Coral Diver Watch LJ-CD-002, inspired by the ocean depths and the world of diving. It features a barrel-shaped case crafted in 316L stainless steel with a brushed finish, measuring 42 mm in diameter and 14 mm in thickness - the perfect dimensions to sit elegantly on a man's wrist. The case is fitted with a unidirectional 120-click bezel in blue, positioned around the dial to display the minutes with time markers finished in luminescent treatment for easy reading. The blue central dial is protected by a sapphire crystal in a dome shape, offering superior resistance to daily shocks and scratches. It also features an anti-reflective coating for perfect legibility in any lighting condition. On the right side of the case at 3 o'clock, a knurled crown allows you to adjust the dial settings as needed. Finally, the screwed caseback ensures water resistance of 20 ATM, equivalent to 200 meters of depth.

The Dial

Designed to immerse you in the depths of the ocean, the dial features a stunning round shape with a blue background, elevated by a granular swirling texture that adds dimension and depth. Three central hands sweep across to display the hours, minutes, and seconds with precision, pointing toward green baton indexes around the dial perimeter. A minute track adds an extra layer of reading precision, set on a blue rehaut that frames the dial and reinforces the sense of depth. For an even more accurate time display, a date window sits at 3 o'clock, showing the date in Arabic numerals at a glance. The watch is also equipped with Super-LumiNova C3 treatment on all elements for excellent legibility in the dark. The brand's name is printed just below the 12 o'clock index, and the movement name appears at 6 o'clock.

The Movement

Powering this diver's watch is a Swiss-made automatic movement - the Sellita SW200 caliber, set with 26 jewels. It beats at a frequency of 28,800 vph and delivers a power reserve of 38 hours, ensuring precise and reliable display of hours, minutes, seconds, and the date.

The Bracelet

Perfectly matched to the rest of the watch, the bracelet is crafted in 316L stainless steel with a stunning brushed finish that conceals the everyday wear and tear of this diver's watch. The bracelet features rows of three links that flex slightly to optimize your range of motion and ensure maximum comfort. It fastens quickly and easily with a deployment clasp.

Water Resistance

This model offers water resistance of 20 atmospheres, or 200 meters. A true companion for deep-water aquatic activities, it's built for freediving. No need to fear the water - you can even use high-pressure washers while wearing it. Showering, bathing, swimming, and freediving are all fair game. However, for scuba diving with tanks, we recommend a timepiece with a higher water-resistance rating. Be sure not to operate the crown or push buttons while submerged, to preserve the integrity of the movement.
