Swiss watchmaker Davosa comes from one of the oldest families in watchmaking history. For over 100 years, the Hasler family has been assembling mechanical calibers in the Swiss Jura. In 1987, they decided to produce their own wristwatches under the Davosa name. Today, Davosa proudly continues that legacy with the Davosa Argonautic Lumis T25 161.529.44. This elegant yet sport-forward watch features a 43 mm diameter, 13.8 mm thick stainless steel case - dimensions that make it a natural fit for men. Built entirely from stainless steel, it's a timepiece ready for any adventure. The finishing is exceptional, combining polished and brushed surfaces throughout. A true diver's watch, it sports a unidirectional 120-click rotating bezel in stainless steel. The ceramic insert is a striking blue with a 60-minute graduation. The "0" marker is represented by an inverted triangle with a luminescent white dot at its center. The pusher at 10 o'clock is a helium escape valve, designed to release helium atoms if pressure builds up inside the watch during professional saturation diving. The screw-down crown at 3 o'clock is used for setting the time and date, providing extra protection against water ingress - and it's further shielded by crown guards. The case back is firmly screwed down and engraved with the brand name and logo.
This stunning blue dial features two distinct zones. Look closely and you'll notice the outer ring is a smooth circle, while the inner section is decorated with geometric shapes evoking ocean waves. The hour markers are rendered as baton indices that have been beveled and faceted for a refined finish. Their centers are filled with Super-LumiNova BGW9 for perfect legibility even in total darkness. The hour and minute hands receive the same treatment. Their "syringe" shape gives the dial a distinctive, bold character all its own. The seconds hand is tipped with a yellow arrow, also coated in BGW9 Super-LumiNova for maximum visibility. A date window at 3 o'clock keeps you oriented in time - white text on a blue background for clean readability. At 6 o'clock, the "Swiss Made" designation confirms the watch's origin and quality. Just above it sits the name "Argonautic", alongside technical specs including its 30 ATM water resistance. To close, note that the brand places its signature at 12 o'clock.
Powering this dive watch, the Davosa Argonautic Lumis T25 161.529.44 houses an automatic caliber DAV 3021 based on either the renowned Swiss ETA 2824-2 movement or the equally prestigious Sellita SW 200-1. This movement delivers a generous 38-hour power reserve and beats at 28,800 vph (4 Hz), giving the seconds hand an exceptionally smooth, fluid sweep at 8 beats per second. Beyond automatic winding, the watch can also be wound manually via the crown at 3 o'clock. The movement also features a hacking seconds function and quick-set date adjustment.
This Argonautic Lumis is available with 3 types of steel bracelets. You can choose a trialink bracelet, a pentalink bracelet, or a Milanese mesh bracelet. Each bracelet fastens with a deployant clasp.
This model offers water resistance up to 30 atmospheres, or 300 meters. Whether you're playing 20,000 leagues under the sea in the pool with your kids or tackling serious professional scuba diving, this watch is ready for it all. The deep sea and its creatures won't know what hit them - you're here now. The Ocarat team wishes you a great underwater adventure, with one final tip: avoid pushing the pushers or turning the crown during descent!
