Blackout Concept was born in 2006 in Geneva, founded by watchmaking enthusiast Fabrice Letellier. Well known in the European motorsport world, Letellier's signature style featured custom cars with deep matte black bodywork and matching black rims. It was only natural, then, that he turned his eye to watchmaking - after all, horology and the automotive world are not so far apart. In 2007, Blackout Concept began customizing iconic timepieces from the great Swiss houses, including the Rolex Submariner, the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak, and the Patek Philippe Nautilus, to name just a few.

From customization to revolution - following a change in leadership in 2017, a new vision emerged: delivering watches with designs as striking as those of the finest Swiss houses, but at accessible price points. "The Inaccessible Finally Becomes Possible!" Blackout Concept set out to offer its own creations with an outstanding value-for-money proposition, achieved through the use of simple yet robust materials with flawless finishes, all assembled with the brand's Swiss expertise.

In 2022, a new era of structure and growth unfolded for the brand, driven by two men: Tymothy Plubeau and Etienne Rousseaux. This new management brought fresh values and enhanced model reliability through a partnership with a Swiss watchmaker certified by the industry's top houses. The result: unique, high-quality mechanical, automatic, tourbillon, and quartz models.
