The Watch

Since 1858, the prestigious Swiss watchmaker Vulcain has built a legacy of iconic timepieces that have stood the test of time. The brand presents this watch, where elegance meets complication: the Monopusher Heritage, reference 650167A08.BAC201. This men's watch features a round case crafted in brushed 316L stainless steel, measuring 38.9 mm in diameter and 13 mm thick. The silver-tone case is topped by a double-domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating - far more resistant than mineral glass, it shields the dial from the everyday knocks life throws at it. Hours and minutes are set via a crown and a push-button positioned at 3 o'clock and 2 o'clock respectively. The screwed, see-through caseback in polished 316L stainless steel reveals the movement within while maintaining a water resistance of 5 ATM.

The Dial

This round dial features a striking black base accented by khaki-colored numerals. Its matte finish pairs seamlessly with the watch strap. The two central hands sweep elegantly to display the hours and minutes respectively, while the seconds hand tracks the seconds. A graduated railway minute track runs along the dial edge for easy time reading, accompanied by Arabic numerals from 1 to 12. Two additional subdials add functionality: a 30-minute counter at 3 o'clock and a small seconds display at 6 o'clock. A pulsometer graduated for 30 beats, shaped as a semicircle above the Arabic numerals, completes the dial. True to form, Vulcain signs the dial at 12 o'clock.

The Movement

At the heart of this Swiss watch beats an automatic movement with manual winding, manufactured in-house. Powered by the Sellita SW510 caliber, this timepiece delivers a power reserve of 63 hours and a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour.
