It is the evolution of the Baby G-Shock BGD-565-1ER - not in terms of appearance, but in terms of features (more on that shortly). Crafted entirely from black resin, the octagonal case retains the toughness that made this collection famous. That durability is further reinforced by its shock-resistant structure, engineered to withstand serious impacts. As for dimensions, this model fits a wide range of wrists, with a width of 37.90 mm, a height of 42.10 mm, and a thickness of 11.30 mm. Add a featherlight weight of 31.00g, and you have a watch that's a pleasure to wear all day. A mineral crystal shields the dial from most shocks and scratches. 4 push-buttons positioned around the case let you set the watch and access its many functions, including the backlight. The caseback, made from brushed stainless steel, is secured by 4 screws and engraved with key specifications, including the watch's 10 ATM water resistance rating.

The Dial

The rectangular digital dial packs in a wealth of information. At its center, in a large format, you'll find the display for hours, minutes, and seconds. Just above sits the day, month, and date. In the upper left, icons indicate the watch's status - such as whether the alarm is activated. The dial is equipped with photovoltaic cells that power this timepiece using light energy, whether natural or artificial. At 6 o'clock, the mention "WR 10 BAR" serves as a reminder of the watch's 100-meter water resistance. The Japanese brand signs its creation at 12 o'clock.

For those who love precision: countdown timers alert you to important or recurring events with an audible signal at the set date and time. Time can be programmed in seconds, up to 24 hours in advance.

5 Daily Alarms
An audible alarm reminds you of your commitments every day at the programmed time. This model features five independent alarms, giving you the flexibility to stay on top of all your important appointments.

Snooze Function
Every time you dismiss the alarm, it triggers again a few minutes later.

Multi-Language Day Display
The day of the week can be displayed in multiple languages of your choice.

Button Beep On/Off
The button beep can be turned off using the mode button. Once disabled, no sound plays when switching between functions. However, any programmed alarms or countdown timers remain active even with the button beep off.

Auto Calendar
Once programmed, the auto calendar always displays the correct date.

12/24-Hour Time Format
Display the time in either 12-hour or 24-hour format.

The Movement

This model runs on a Japanese-made Casio movement. Powered by solar energy, it offers an excellent service life - no need to visit a watchmaker every couple of years just to swap out a battery. It also features a module that automatically sets the time by receiving radio time signals (JPN, EU, CHN, USA).

The Bracelet

Combining durability with flexibility, this strap is crafted from black synthetic resin. It fastens with a classic stainless steel pin buckle.

Water Resistance

With water resistance of 100 meters - or 10 ATM in watchmaking terms - this bold timepiece is just as at home at a gala as it is in the water. Feel free to wear it in the shower, the bath, or even during an energetic swim session. That said, our team of Ocarat watch experts wants to make one thing clear: this model is not designed for scuba diving, freediving, or use with high-pressure cleaning equipment. Keep it simple - shower, bath, and swimming only, and avoid operating the push-buttons or crown while submerged.
