The Watch

Founded in 2018, Echo/neutra is an Italian concept brand crafting timepieces that blend original design, vintage aesthetics, and a sporting spirit. The brand offers reimagined takes on classic watchmaking that reflect a remarkable attention to detail. Today, it presents a modern interpretation of the moon phase complication through the Averau Big Moon White Full Lume. This is an elegant, thoughtfully designed watch - comfortable on the wrist and a pleasure to behold. It features a round case crafted in 316L stainless steel with a timeless, understated silhouette enhanced by a beautifully executed brushed finish, complemented by polished beveled edges that add a charming flair. With a 39 mm diameter, a 12.50 mm thickness, and a 46 mm lug-to-lug length, this case - ideally proportioned for men's wrists - is protected by a domed sapphire crystal. Guarding the dial against scratches, the crystal features a double anti-reflective coating on its inner surface for outstanding legibility. The crown, positioned at 3 o'clock, has an attractive knurled texture for a confident grip when setting the hands. The caseback is secured by a screw-down mechanism and adorned with a mountain motif stamped onto a sandblasted center, surrounded by engraved inscriptions. This caseback delivers a water resistance rating of 10 ATM.

The Dial

The dial features a perfectly organized layout for easy, fluid timekeeping. It sports a white base punctuated by black baton hour markers at 3, 6, 9, and 12 o'clock, all heavily coated in Super LumiNova BGW9 for a blue photoluminescent glow that ensures perfect legibility even in the dark - as do the hands, with their arrowhead hour hand and pointed baton minute hand. These markers are complemented by a minute track featuring fine batons indicating the minutes on the outer ring and the hours toward the center, paired with Arabic numerals for effortless time reading. The seconds hand features a red and white tip, a nod to the signaling sticks used by the "Club Alpino Italiano" in the Dolomites. This red accent is echoed in the "Automatic" label at 9 o'clock and in the arrow indicators pointing to both the four main lunar phases and the 8 phases that make up a complete lunar cycle of approximately 29.5 days. This stunning moon phase complication at 6 o'clock showcases a large, remarkably realistic and finely detailed moon. The dial is completed by a date window at 3 o'clock, displaying the date on a black background within a round aperture. The finishing touch is the brand's signature at 12 o'clock, followed by the collection name.

The Movement

Beating at the heart of the case is a Swiss-made automatic movement delivering precise, reliable timekeeping. The Sellita SW280-1 caliber is finely regulated across 3 positions, with a mean daily rate of -7/+7 seconds, reduced maximum deviation, and improved isochronism. It features 26 jewels and oscillates at 28,800 vph (4 Hz), providing a power reserve of 41 hours. This quality movement offers analog three-hand display, a date function, and a moon phase complication.

The Bracelet

The brand has chosen to pair this model with a technical black nylon strap. Its double-layer construction provides a secure, confident fit, and features polished silver-tone stainless steel keepers. The strap is further distinguished by the number "2649" - the model's reference - as well as the "Averau" inscription, lending it a refined finish. It is fitted with a well-crafted pin buckle for a reliable hold.

Water Resistance

This model offers water resistance up to 10 atmospheres, or 100 meters. This is a truly waterproof timepiece! Its sporty, easygoing design makes it ready to dive into aquatic adventures alongside you. From rain puddles to the swimming pool, this watch handles water activities without complaint. Showers, baths, and lap swimming are no match for it. That said, Ocarat's watchmaking experts want you to know that while this model is water-resistant, it is not suited for diving (professional or recreational) and should be kept away from high-pressure cleaning equipment. We also recommend avoiding use of the crown or pushers while the watch is submerged.
