The case is crafted entirely from premium stainless steel, with subtly rounded lines that soften its design. The finishing is outstanding - fully hand-polished. Dimensions are beautifully balanced: 30.40 mm wide, 33.30 mm tall, and a remarkably slim 9.71 mm thick. These proportions make it a natural fit for men's wrists of all sizes. A domed sapphire crystal protects the dial with elegance and impressive scratch resistance. The onion-shaped crown at 3 o'clock lets you set both the time and date. Flip the watch over and enjoy the transparent case back - a window into the automatic movement beating at its heart. Secured by 4 screws and contributing to the watch's 3 ATM water resistance, it's also engraved in italics with key technical details including the model reference and country of manufacture.

The Dial

This pristine white dial pairs effortlessly with any outfit. The outer zone features a sunray finish that plays beautifully with light. It houses "sword"-shaped hour markers in polished and faceted stainless steel - an undeniable touch of elegance. A black minute track divides the dial into two zones while ensuring precise timekeeping. The inner zone showcases a guilloché finish - a true testament to Frédérique Constant's watchmaking savoir-faire. The hour and minute hands take the classic "dauphine" form in polished stainless steel. A seconds hand sweeps continuously. A date window in black on white sits at 6 o'clock, beautifully framed in polished stainless steel. Below it: "Swiss Made". Above it: "Automatic". The Swiss maison signs the dial at 12 o'clock.

The Movement

This dress watch is powered by the Frédérique Constant FC-303 automatic movement, built on a Swiss Sellita SW200-1 base. Its power reserve is a very solid 38 hours. Regulated at 28,800 vibrations per hour, it gives the seconds hand a pleasingly smooth sweep at 8 beats per second. It also features a stop-seconds function and can be wound manually via the crown.

The Strap

Just as important as the watch itself, Frédérique Constant selected a stunning black calfskin leather strap to dress it. It delivers top-tier wearing comfort. Subtle black topstitching runs along the edges for a refined finish. The pin buckle in polished stainless steel serves as the clasp - and features a charming engraved maison logo as a finishing touch.

Water Resistance

With water resistance rated at 3 atmospheres - 30 meters - this watch is not built for aquatic adventures. Washing your hands or light household tasks involving water? You're fine. But the Ocarat team strongly recommends leaving it on the nightstand before hopping in the shower or bath, and locking it in the hotel safe before diving into the pool or the turquoise sea on your next vacation.
