Today, Lip proudly introduces the Automatic Rally Chronograph "Grand Prix de France Historique" 670050. Limited to just 255 pieces worldwide, it features a round case meticulously crafted in polished 316L stainless steel, lending it a brilliant shine. Designed with the utmost care, the case measures 42 mm in diameter - an ideal size for men's wrists. It is equipped with two pushers and a grey crown positioned on the right side to control the various central functions. The crown's knurled texture ensures a confident grip. A domed sapphire crystal sits atop the dial to shield it from impact. Anti-reflective treated, it guarantees effortless legibility. Finally, this timepiece features a screwed and engraved caseback ensuring water resistance of 5 ATM.

The Dial

Original and captivating, this dial gives the watch a striking presence. It features a colored base for smooth legibility. Round in shape, its design evokes a racetrack aesthetic, with a minutes railroad track running along the bezel edge. This is complemented by red Arabic numerals grouped in sets of 5 for greater time precision. At the center, against a checkered flag pattern, three grey hands mark the time with precision. These include a short hour hand and a long minute hand, plus a slim seconds hand with a red tip tracking the chronograph seconds. The hours are also indicated by silver baton indices. Both main hands feature a luminescent coating for enhanced readability in the dark. For added functionality, two sub-dials at 3 and 9 o'clock display small seconds and 30-minute elapsed time respectively. A date window at 6 o'clock notes the country of manufacture just below. At the opposite position, the movement type and a car motif - nodding to this model's motorsport theme - are displayed. The dial is signed with the brand name in black lettering below 12 o'clock.

The Movement

This watch is powered by a Seiko NE86 automatic movement. Robust and dependable, this Japanese caliber delivers accuracy of -15/+15 seconds/day and is highly resistant to vibrations. It beats at a frequency of 28,800 vph and features 34 jewels. Power reserve stands at 45 hours.

The Strap

This stunning bracelet is crafted from durable bovine leather. In black with a subtle grain texture, it features delicate perforations and blue stitching for a refined finishing touch. Supple and elegant, it sits comfortably on the wrist and comes fitted with a deployment clasp for a perfectly personalized fit. Lug width: 18 mm.

Water Resistance

With water resistance of 50 meters - or 5 ATM in standard watchmaking terms - this timepiece handles everyday water exposure with ease, though it is not designed for prolonged contact with water. You can wear it in the shower occasionally, but to preserve the quality and precision of the movement, our watch specialists strongly advise keeping it away from H2O - whether in the bath, the pool, or the sea. In short: no swimming, no diving, and no extended immersion.
