The Watch

Of French origin, Patrouille de France was founded in 1978 in Besançon. The brand crafts technically accomplished watches designed to accompany you on your greatest adventures. At three o'clock sits a grey, notched crown for a secure grip, protected for safe manipulation of the dial's various elements, all covered by a mineral crystal. The Dial

This technical-looking dial delivers a precise read of the time. Its round shape showcases a skeleton finish that offers a detailed view of the movement. It is elevated by an airplane-shaped motif referencing the air force's fighter jets - the Alpha Jets - and includes information about the water resistance and movement type used in this watch. At the center of this stunning dial, three silver sport hands mark the time with precision. They include a slim seconds hand with an airplane-shaped tip indicating elapsed seconds, accompanied by a long and a short hand for minutes and hours respectively. The latter two feature a luminescent treatment, also applied to the hour indices, for optimal legibility whenever needed. Rectangular in shape, these indices alternate with a minute track on a striking blue dial. The whole is encircled by Arabic numerals on a 360-degree scale dedicated to the compass function. Finally, the dial is signed with the brand's logo below 12 o'clock, followed by the "Made in France" mention toward the bottom.

The Movement

At the heart of this timepiece beats a Miyota 8N24 automatic movement - a robust, reliable open-heart mechanism that delivers precise hand movement. Of Japanese origin, it oscillates at a frequency of 21,600 alt/h, features 21 jewels to reduce friction, and offers a power reserve of 42 hours.

The Strap

This handsome strap adds a touch of effortless style. Crafted in bovine leather, it wraps the wrist with supple flexibility.
