The Watch

Founded in 1947 by its namesake, French brand Herbelin has been crafting elegantly refined and innovative watches ever since. Born in Charquemont, in the Franche-Comté region, the brand was built on its founder's ambition: an unwavering drive to create watches of exceptional quality. Passed down from father to son, the company has never lost sight of that founding vision. Herbelin now introduces its latest creation: the Art Déco 17478/08B2. Featuring a tonneau-shaped case in grey stainless steel and a white dial, this timepiece radiates undeniable charm. The dial is fitted with two black leaf-shaped hands for hours and minutes, framing a central rectangle with a clous de Paris finish. Surrounding it are Roman numeral hour markers and a minute track, both in black. A flat sapphire crystal sits above, protecting the dial. At three o'clock, the crown - or manual winding button - lets you set the time. A matching stainless steel bracelet wraps around both sides of the case. Measuring 20.3 mm wide and 24.4 mm long, the 17478/08B2 offers water resistance of 5 ATM, equivalent to 50 meters.

The Dial

The dial of the 17478/08B2 sits at the center of the tonneau case. It is rectangular in shape and white in color, with a central rectangle in a clous de Paris finish. It features two black leaf-shaped hands indicating the hours and minutes, surrounded by Roman numeral hour markers and a minute track, all in black. At three o'clock, a manual winding crown allows you to set the time - useful when the battery runs out or during travel across time zones. A flat sapphire crystal protects the entire dial.

The Movement

Powered by a Swiss-made quartz movement, this watch runs on a battery - specifically the Ronda Normtech 751 5 1/2 caliber. With this movement, expect an initial battery life of approximately 7 years.

The Strap

This Art Déco watch will grace any woman's wrist effortlessly, thanks to its highly elegant bracelet. Crafted in grey stainless steel, it features a "Jubilee" link style and fastens securely with a double folding clasp.

Water Resistance

With a water resistance rating of 5 atmospheres (50 meters), this watch is your entry point into water-resistant timekeeping. While not built for swimming, lap sessions, or diving, it can handle an accidental shower without issue.
