It was the first mission to land in the lunar highlands, specifically in the Descartes crater region. Remarkable in its detail, style, and precision, this watch features a round case crafted from silver stainless steel with a sophisticated brushed finish that gives the model real character. The case measures 48 mm in diameter and 17 mm in thickness, designed to sit beautifully on men's wrists. A stunning bezel with a red insert pays homage to the mission badge, engraved with "Young-Mattingly-Duke" - the names of the crew members. It surrounds the flat sapphire crystal that sits above the dial to protect it from potential impacts. The protected blue crown at 3 o'clock adjusts the central indicators.
