The Watch
Maurice Lacroix is renowned for its watchmaking expertise and exceptional timepieces. Discover this unique, feature-rich watch from the iconic AIKON collection - inspired by the legendary Calypso watch - featuring sleek, elegant, and masculine lines. With its urban, contemporary aesthetic, it is built around a stainless steel case with a 44mm diameter that sits perfectly on the wrist. A sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating protects the dial from unexpected shocks, so you can take your watch on every adventure without worrying about scratching the crystal, thanks to its renowned durability. A six-arm stainless steel bezel frames the crystal. A winding crown at three o'clock lets you set the hands, while two chronograph pushers flank it to activate the various functions. Finally, a snap-on case back ensures water resistance up to 20 ATM (200 meters).
The Dial
The dial showcases all the features of this timepiece. In gray, it displays a stunning guilloché finish that highlights the craftsmanship of Maurice Lacroix. At its center, three silver-toned hands mark the hours, minutes, and seconds. Both the hour and minute hands feature a luminescent treatment, allowing you to read the time even in complete darkness. Rhodium-plated baton-shaped indexes serve as time markers around the dial's perimeter, joined by a minute track for more precise timekeeping. Three blue subdials with a beautiful sunray finish are visible at six, nine, and twelve o'clock, indicating 12 hours, the small seconds, and 30 minutes respectively. A dual display window at three o'clock shows both the day and the date at a glance. Finally, Maurice Lacroix signs its work by placing its logo and name at three o'clock. The movement is also referenced at the same index.
The Movement
An automatic movement powers this timepiece. Of Swiss origin, it features the in-house caliber ML112, with 25 jewels and an oscillation frequency of 28,000 vph. It drives the hour, minute, and second hands, the three subdials, and the dual display window. Best of all, it delivers a generous 48-hour power reserve.
The Strap
To showcase the maison's craftsmanship, the watch is fitted with a calfskin strap in a crocodile-pattern finish. This true horological jewelry piece will captivate you with its mesmerizing blue hue and white contrast stitching, elegantly framing your wrist. The embossed M logo adds a refined signature to the strap, which fastens with a black PVD-treated stainless steel butterfly deployment clasp.
Water Resistance
This model offers water resistance up to 20 atmospheres - that's 200 meters. Ladies and gentlemen, this is a watch built to go wherever your aquatic adventures take you. Designed for freediving, it handles high-pressure water jets without breaking a sweat. Shower, bath, lap swimming, and freediving are all fair game. That said, for scuba diving with tanks, we recommend a timepiece with a higher water resistance rating. Also, avoid operating the crown or pushers while submerged to protect the movement's integrity.
