The Watch

Classic and vintage in spirit, this automatic "Out of Range" ACY 1106 from the Académie collection is presented by Ralf Tech. Effortlessly understated, it elevates your everyday wardrobe. This model features a round 316L surgical steel case with a fully polished finish that highlights its 41mm diameter. A true jewelry timepiece, it will win over watch enthusiasts. The dial is protected by a "Glassbox"-style sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating, offering robust scratch and shock resistance for daily life. At 3 o'clock, the screw-down crown lets you set the time as you please. Finally, with a screw-down case back, this watch is water-resistant to 20 ATM, or 200 meters. This watch comes delivered in a vintage calfskin travel case.

The Dial

A round champagne-colored dial adds a radiant finishing touch to this watch. Its sunray finish brings light and brilliance to the piece. A black minute track runs along the perimeter, complemented by silver baton hour markers. These time markers are swept by two baton hands and a thin seconds hand. Matched to the indices, they add a contemporary edge to the overall look. To keep you on time even in the dark, the hands and indices are treated with Superluminova C1 luminescent coating. Finally, this piece is signed by the brand beneath the 12 o'clock marker.

The Movement

Powering this watch with precision and reliability is an automatic movement at its core. Manufactured in-house, this RTA003 caliber built on a Seiko NH36 base features 24 jewels. With an oscillation frequency of 21,600 beats per hour and a 44-hour power reserve, it delivers quality analog timekeeping.

The Strap

This watch is dressed in a vintage black hand-stitched calfskin leather strap. With beige contrast stitching on both sides of the case, it elegantly enhances your wrist. If you're after a more casual look, a second black silicone strap is included in the box. Both straps fasten with a gray pin buckle. The lug width is 22mm.

Water Resistance

With water resistance to 20 atmospheres, or 200 meters, this model is what you'd confidently call a dive watch. Our watchmaking experts agree: while this timepiece handles showers, baths, sports swimming, freediving, and recreational scuba diving with ease, it is not intended for extreme deep-sea diving where pressure would compromise its water resistance. For our professional diver friends chasing depth records, we recommend models rated at 30 ATM and above. We also advise against operating the pushers or crown while in the water - this keeps the seal intact and your watch performing at its best!
