How do I find the right ring size?

For your ring to be truly comfortable, it needs to fit your finger perfectly.

1^st Method: You have a reference ring - measurement by comparison

The most accurate and simplest method is to measure the inner diameter of your reference ring.

You can also measure the inner diameter of your reference ring using our printable ring sizer.

1. Download and print our ring sizer at 100% scale
   verify the scale of your printout using a ruler
2. Place one of your rings on the circles to find the corresponding size.
3. When the outer edge of the circle just touches the inside of your ring, the size written below that circle is the one you should order.

You can also, using thick paper and a craft knife, cut out the inside of the circles and, by sliding your finger through, determine the ring size that fits you.

2^nd Method: You don't have a reference ring - measurement with string

1. Get a light-colored string and a dark marker.
2. Wrap the string around the largest knuckle of the finger that will wear the ring.
3. Mark the point where the string overlaps with the marker (make sure there is ink on both sides of the string).
4. Using a ruler, measure the distance in millimeters between the two points to get the ring size to order.

Example: for a measured length of 52 millimeters (or 5.2 cm), you should order a ring size 52).

If your measurement falls between two sizes, we recommend choosing the larger size.

3^rd Method: You don't have a reference ring - measurement with the printed tape

Less precise, it gives you an approximate value of your actual ring size.
Be sure to factor in your physical condition, the season, and the width of the ring.

1. Print our ring sizer at 100% scale and cut out the graduated tape included.
   verify the scale of your printout using a ruler
2. Wrap it snugly around the largest knuckle of the finger that will wear the ring.
3. Read the value in millimeters where the tape overlaps the 0 mark, subtract a margin of approximately 3 millimeters, and you will get the ring size to order.
   
   Example: for a measured length of 55 millimeters (or 5.5 cm), you should order a ring size 52.

The Different Types of Rings:

• The Wedding Ring:

  A wedding ring is a band made of gold, silver, or platinum that symbolizes the union entered into through marriage, most often worn on the left ring finger - hence its name.
  It is a jewelry piece for both men and women. Over the years, wedding rings have grown wider, going from 1-2 mm to 5 mm or more. Once offered in a single color (white, yellow, or rose gold), today you'll find two-tone and even three-gold models, often set with diamonds for women's styles.

• The Signet Ring:
  

  A signet ring is a wide-set ring traditionally engraved with a coat of arms. Today, it comes in many shapes - oval, barrel, round, or square - featuring initials, a number, or another motif.
  Originally used as a seal, which is why the engraving was done in reverse. In France, men traditionally wear it on the left ring finger alongside the wedding ring, while women wear it on the left pinky finger.
  A signet ring can be worn baise-main style (crest pointing toward the fingertips) or bagarre style (crest pointing toward the palm).
